Feb 9th 2012 12:08PM Three cheers for hunters! Hip Hip Hooray!
Sep 13th 2011 1:58AM THe Heroic nerfs might be taking it a bit too far. But nerfs to normal are i wouldnt say are welcome but understandable.
Instead of patching and hotfixing midpatch however I wish they would implement something from the get-go like in ICC where theres a buff that increases over time. Have it start 10 weeks after patch release and have it increase 2% every week untill it reaches 20% or whatever floats blizzards boat. The delayed-start aside having something like this that players no about from the very begining will prevent other players from getting up in arms about changes like these announced today.
Jul 2nd 2011 3:40PM I'm not a big fan of most video or computer games, with the exception of every product made by blizzard. My friends in middle school got me started on Starcraft LAN matches in the computer center at the local library. I loved it, and eventualy made it to the single player where the characters and plot were completely engrossing to me. Playing Starcraft I'd heard of Warcraft but i didnt bother to try it to a friend showed me Warcraft II at his house. I was interested, borrowed it and loved it as well. Read the manual and also got really into the stories. Bough Warcraft 1 and played through it. Warcraft 3 i bought it on the first day, etc...
When WoW was coming out i immediately knew i wouldnt be playing, paying a subscription seemed like an odd thing to do, not to meantion i was young, had a charge card but had never used it, and had a crappy computer system. But i loved the idea of all the new lore we'd get from it. It came out on a Tuesday Nov 23. By Saturday, knowing about the trial month and wanting a copy of the collector's edition for its goodies really badly, i decided to buy it and play it for the free month. I actualy decided when i walked into the store for something else and saw it sitting there knowing it had sold out everywhere else. By the next morning i was in for life.
Mar 20th 2011 1:41PM Razion that isnt even remotely true. Quite the opposite in fact. You are making a baseless assumption and hoping no one calls you on it. Well no such luck. All the authors (Golden, Rosenberg, Knaak, etc...) have been interviewed countless times and each time they tell us how blizzard went over every chapter, how they met with the creative department, got an outline, met again multiple times and then afterwards were always a phone call away. How they would get calls to fix mistakes from Mickey, Evelyn and Chris, etc...
Everything is Blizzards fault. It's ALWAYS the bosses fault. Rememeber that in life. Not that theres anything here for them to feel guilty about.
Mar 20th 2011 1:32PM Even the rpg books arent up for debate. Like everything else all the information in them is cannon until its not.
Mar 19th 2011 8:34PM Rhonin is an amazing character, and one of my all time favorites. I do hope to continue hearing more from him and i do mean all that sincerly.
Mar 14th 2010 12:24PM Accounts vary but it turns out Deathwing wiped out only most of the flight during that encounter. Sindragosa for instance was flung far away. Not to meantion blue dragons still existed in the 10,000+ years between the War of the Ancients and The Battle of Grim Batol (See Arygos, Arcanagos, Azuregos, Sapphiron, etc...). Quite a few blues escaped back to Northrend where their battles with the blacks are behind the creation of Crystalsong, the Westrift, and their settling on Coldarra. Nothing is absolute.
Mar 13th 2010 8:03PM Small mistake in the first page. It states after the Demon Soul was destroyed by Rhonin Deathwing went into hiding then his next plan was his litle trip to Draenor. It's actualy a bit more complicated than that. Deathwing did initiate Alexstrasza's capture prior to the Second War but as I'm sure you already know there was an eight-or-so year gap between her capture and her release. It was during this time he traveled to Draenor. After coming back, and feigning his death once again, is when he tried to steal her eggs only to be foiled. I think you were trying to simplify it down for readers but the section that reads "Deathwing was once more forced to go back into hiding and regroup. His next plan of attack was deliberate -- if he could not breed his flight on Azeroth, the world of Draenor, accessible through the Dark Portal, would suit his purposes nicely." should be rewritten.
Mar 6th 2010 8:21PM Always nice to see more and more people diving into the lore of warcraft
Dec 28th 2009 3:04PM Nerzhul's was encased in ice from the far reaches of the twisting nether by Kil'jaeden before being cast down into Northrend. When ice is the most plentiful thing you have to work with...His liches were similarly empowered and passed down their talents to their necromancer protege.
