Jun 26th 2009 9:58AM That looks so simple and intuitive that it just amazes me that they didn't think to implement it from the start.
Pets are an integral part of warlocks and hunters and there were bars for them from the start it's strange Blizzard didn't have that thought process for Shamans' totems.
This isn't QQ by the way just some thoughts, the totem bar looks savage.
May 21st 2009 6:43PM Voted draenei shaman too cos thats what I'm levelling at the moment! :D It's got to be a female draenei though, just cos their casting animation is sooo much cooler than the male one.
May 6th 2009 1:56PM Huh, gotta say I disagree. Maybe it's just me but I'd be willing to put up with some lag in order to keep the numbers up. A big part of the fun for me is the sheer number of players in each battle/skirmish, makes it feel more epic when there are players swarming.
As I said, could be just me though. Different strokes and all that jazz. :D
May 3rd 2009 1:52PM Agreed that's what I did. I'm on Silvermoon EU which means there are about 5 horde on at any given time, or at least that's how it seems.
The few that are on that server were thankfully kind enough to team up and park a female orc, troll and tauren which were all lowbies in dalaran. Guess they took pity on us :D
Anyone else experience the opposite faction help them out with it?
Apr 20th 2009 9:48AM I agree! That opening paragraph made me smile. Cheers Adam. :)
Apr 19th 2009 3:48PM Maybe it's just me but even with projected texture turned on, the effect from desecration just isn't as cool looking as before. It used to spread to different parts of the ground before in its animation but now it's very static looking. :(
Apr 8th 2009 7:37PM Hey Shinn, thank you for the kind words of encouragement and the info but that's the thing I read all of those resources and all the builds, fight strategies etc.
Not sure what my problem is really, I'll just have to man up!
Thanks again, oh and good luck with the giving and receiving of said face pounding ;)
Apr 8th 2009 7:06PM I've been playing this game since before the BC and the only instance I've ever done is Deadmines twice in PUG's. I don't know what it is but I just have this huge fear of letting people down or messing up so I avoid them and guilds as a result. I've always wanted to do a raid :(
Apr 6th 2009 3:08PM Huh ok thanks guys that makes a alot of sense actually now that I think about it. My gear is shoddy and so I'm always lower on the list of damage dealt. I don't see any problem with awarding damage and healing. But maybe the weighting of it is a bit off? In one match I had destroyed 2 gates and 1 demolisher and there was still people above me who had more honour and less hit kills.
I think it would be a good idea to put more onus on the objectives especially in Strand cos a lot of people just don't bother with the vehicles, bit I digress.
Thanks again for the info. Oh and Rob you should definitely play SotA, it's good fast fun.
Apr 6th 2009 1:49PM I've recently started doing battlegrounds, namely Strand of the Ancients. One thing that I can't figure out is how the honour totals are calculated at the end of each battle.I see people with less HK's getting more honour than me.
At first I thought it had to do with them destroying vehicles and gates but again people who hadn't completed these objectives would be above me on the honour gains.
So finally my question is how exactly are honour totals calculated in battlegrounds? I realise the answer is probably different for each one but a general rule would be helpful.
