Subaru shows us a side of the 2012 Impreza {Autoblog Archive}

Apr 6th 2011 11:01PM I'd like to see the front and back before I judge how an entry level car looks. There's only so much styling you can do from 2D.

This is coming from a current entry-level Impreza owner (though 5-door)

Geneva 2011: Subaru's RWD Sports Car getting 2.0-liter non-turbo engine, confirmed for America {Autoblog Archive}

Mar 1st 2011 8:53AM Yes, Fuji Heavy Industries better be getting a "share" of anything Toyota makes on this like distribution help or manufacturing tech for selling themselves out. Hopefully they don't just take any of Toyota's historical draw for bad press...

I like the idea of having a Subaru sports car. However, the issue that a lot of people are thinking but not saying is that many people buy so-called under-steering Subarus and don't mind it because they are above all fun to drive and at the end of the day you can still laugh at people as you get around your snowy town. They have a dual purpose daily-driver/autocross monster that people just love--me included.

First Drive: 2012 Ford Focus {Autoblog Archive}

Jan 31st 2011 1:20PM I like what Ford is doing, I used to have a Focus and I loved it. That being said, the chassis setup and feel is the only reason I would think of getting it over my current Impreza though. Similar prices, and now similar interior, but the Impreza has AWD.

I think Ford is still going to have to come down on price in order to compete with the new Hyundai Elantra...

Toyota-based Subaru Trezia hatchback headed to Europe {Autoblog Archive}

Jan 24th 2011 2:00AM I actually welcome this in the US if it were to come here. Like others have said this is the same formula they've had overseas for over a decade.

What I do like is the thought of a smaller but useful ALL WHEEL DRIVE vehicle here in the states apart from the Suzuki SX4. I have had multiple friends I know up here in the Northeast looking for something just like this!

Popular Honda Fit design + Toyota cost of manufacturing + Subaru Awesomeness and AWD = super car even for the US

They would be smart to bring it here to the climates that would seriously embrace this!

Report: Fiat, Chrysler considering natural gas push {Autoblog Archive}

Dec 8th 2010 1:09AM Diesel has a bad name connotation (big fat diesel trucks) and Natural Gas has a good name connotation (it's natural).

And the one that scares me the most is the natural gas idea that everyone has it being perfectly clean and as abundant as water. Apart from emissions (yes there are emissions!!!), there are serious environmental consequences for current practices in the Northeast US on natural gas drilling.

LA 2010: Cadillac Urban Luxury Concept scales down Art & Science for big-city life {Autoblog Archive}

Nov 18th 2010 8:30AM Practical as in banging the leading edge of your door on the curbs that cover urban areas. Goood think designers put ridiculous doors on just concepts and not the real things.
