Mar 4th 2010 3:05AM I play on Darrowmere. Most of the people on this server are either PVE players (e.g. raiding) or competitive PVPers (BGs, Arena, WG). The only people who'll miss this change are those into world ganking. I never liked being ganks or ganking someone else. To me it felt dishonorable. I welcome the change, esp with Cataclysm on the way.
Feb 1st 2010 2:10PM "Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more; it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."
Dec 15th 2009 2:56PM "Lord Marrowgar will now do significantly less melee damage in both the 10 player normal and 10 player heroic difficulty."
Really? I found the fight to be relatively easy. We killed this boss on 10 player with no problems. We also kill him on 25 player with only 21 and 5 healers. 25-player Lady Deathwhisper really needs a small nerf though.
Dec 15th 2009 2:37PM I wish Blizzard would modify this system so that it matches up equivalently geared people. I've been in more than a few groups with woefully under-geared tanks and meh DPS. When I run an instances with a random PUG I want players who are decked out in item level 245 or higher gear, like me. In other words I don't want to carry under-geared players.
Dec 14th 2009 11:14AM @Chris. LOL. That comment made my morning. :)
Dec 10th 2009 11:56AM Blizzard hinted at Blizzcon and elsewhere that the Lich King fight and death will be epic. I am totally guessing but if Blizzard can release a multi-winged instanced like Ulduar in a couple months they sure as hell could release ICC the same way. The delay seems to point to the fact that Blizzard wants an epic CGI cinematic. Unfortunately CGI animation takes a lot longer to complete than raid content.
Dec 10th 2009 11:46AM For TOC trophies raiders linked what they're replacing and how many pieces of tier gear, and ONLY if they have 45 or 75 emblems of triumph.

Dec 10th 2009 11:41AM Our guild doesn't use DKP. No one wants to be the secretary for it. We used to use a complicated /roll system for role types but did away with it when guildmates complained that new people were winning drops over core raiders. So we changed to a system where people link what their replacing. The GM and officers vote who receives the item based on attendance, need, and attitude. It’s a much fairer system and no one complains about it (at least not in guild chat that I’ve seen).

No, actually, the design is based on the goblin and the Hobgoblin. Seriously guys? KKK?
