Oct 16th 2008 7:11PM All I see is another victory for Multiboxers.
Cheers Mike, we love the publicity :-) I hope someday you can write a decent article about us.
and to all those who don't like it...
Its legal, theres nothing you can do, we rule, you suck, cry more, we enjoy your tears.
Jul 20th 2008 12:31PM @lolatyou
Not by Blizzards definition it isn't. Sorry :-(
Jul 20th 2008 12:28PM Also I just found this defintion of automation.
automatic control systems without need of human intervention
Lets see how many we can get which support both of our sides? :-)
Jul 20th 2008 12:25PM Unfortunately, thats not Blizzards definition, which is the only thing that really matters :-(
Jul 20th 2008 12:24PM The coordination a multiboxer has is great, this is obvious. Although people seem to think that its impossible to do with 5 characters. Its not impossible, just very, very difficult. I'd advise people to check out Guildwars and some of the spike damage PvP groups there. Several very well coordinated people focus firing targets down in less than a second.
As for them not being the same as 5 seperate characters all doing the same thing, perhaps you would like to elaborate on this, as I can't see what a Multiboxer can do that 5 normal players cannot.
Jul 20th 2008 12:10PM :-) Try asking over at WoWAce. I believe someone over there is already looking at this kind of thing.
Jul 20th 2008 11:56AM Its not automation. 1 keypress = 1 Action. The keypress is replicated on an OS level, which blizzard is completely fine with, you are not modifying the WoW executable in any way.
Your argument is *completely* flawed.
"it's automation and last time I checked, Blizzard was against this sort of action, thus the bots they banned and the companies of the bots they went after. Though, they aren't seeing it this way. No, because it's giving them money and it's giving them exposure."
Lets break this down. Blizzard want to earn money, they'd make far more money from not banning botters than they *EVER* would from Multiboxers. You only need to look at the banwaves. 100K accounts closed here and there, etc. As is quite evident, its not to do with the money, and Multiboxing was around LONG before WoW or Blizzard were. You also state its not cheating, but then state its automation which IS cheating. lol.
Also he's 64-4 ... 4 evidently, he CAN be beaten.
Additionally, there are probably a few hundred if not a few thousand people who are 4+ boxing shaman. Aelli is one of two of the Multiboxers who are doing well. The other is a guy called Calebv from nihilum.
So in summary, if its as overpowered and as unbeatable as all the crying would leave people to believe, why are there only TWO people who are succeeding in high end arenas? One day you guys are going to have to admit that hes a skilled player and theres no two ways about it.
Jul 20th 2008 10:23AM As you can see, that wiki link instead displays the common anti-Multiboxer QQ's. Yes, mostly written by the staff at dual-boxing.com, to be fair, we've been dealing with the QQ's from envious players for the past 18 months. If you think any of your points are original and haven't already been encountered and thus dealt with by the Multiboxer community (and supported by Blizzard staff) then I'd encourage you to visit the following link.
Warning, if you dont like getting disapointed that your QQ is totally baseless and pointless, dont visit the below link.
Jul 20th 2008 5:41AM 4x2800? You must have pretty shitty gear if that KO's your character.
