Apr 26th 2010 8:19PM "First Cataclysm raids will be tuned for players in dungeons blues and crafted items"
That doesn't mean I'm not going to require anyone joining the group from a PUG to have a GearScore at least 1000 points above this. If you aren't wearing purples, then you don't get to raid. I kick you, and you noobs can continue farming Heroics or get some skills.
Sep 5th 2009 10:39AM SON OF A BITCH. The moment I saw that picture I scrolled down to hit reply and type that EXACT line.
Well played, sir, well played.
Sep 3rd 2009 4:12AM I bet you're the type of person that doesn't tip when you go out to eat. "What? They expect 15% extra for my lobster dinner and wine? Total bs, they already get a 2$ hourly, what kind of greedy person doesn't just do this for charity and expects to support themselves from this type of thing? I bet they go home with hundreds of dollars a night and spend it all on beer!"
Jun 2nd 2009 12:10AM I'm with you. This explains a lot.
I mean, its almost the exact same thing as if a druid's gloves said "Your Entangling Roots spell has a chance to reset its Diminishing Returns when cast". (This isn't a bash to druids either, I'm merely pointing out how completely circumventing the cost and effect process is a bad idea).
May 28th 2009 2:16PM This is really not doing very much to convince WoW players that their extreme prejudice against the Chinese as being lying, cheating, conniving, gold farming account stealing machines is a bit overzealous. In fact, its pretty hilarious at this point just how much its repeatedly supporting that. Similar to that theme park with all the Warcraft characters being used as its selling point that ended up being in, to everyone's surprise, China.
May 17th 2009 11:32PM He even said that his CURRENT character is the DK and plays with his friend's Holy Pally. Did he just HAPPEN to have two characters that fit the top 2s setup, or are he and his school friend rerollers that just jump around to current FOTM and then be happy about how "great at this game they are" for always getting glad.
The other interesting part is where HE is the one jumping around to the current overpowered class, and yet he wants Blizz to ditch the pve raid game and focus entirely on balancing entirely around arena?
May 11th 2009 7:31PM Watch, sometime in the near future, WoWinsider will be posting "We've received C&D order from Blizzard", and possibly the other news places.
Apr 19th 2009 7:16AM Tagashi is trying so hard to "stick it to the man" and "show all those Blizzard fanbois" how cool he is that he fails to realize that if he simply opened his settings, clicked Display, and put a little check in the box that says "Preview Talents", then viola.
Nah, he'd much rather flame randomly and whine about "Now, queue all the Blizzard fan-boy losers to make up stories about how hard it is running the biggest MMO ever..."
Looks like someone else fails harder, imo. Moron.
Mar 9th 2009 1:32AM FINALLY some warlock nerfs. I've been waiting on them to tone down locks who are just wtfpwning everyone in arena right now, so to see some nerfs to that stupid affliction drain tank spec is awesome. That and I'm glad they are finally fixing that a PET is the best tank in the game right now. It also takes forever to kill the stupid thing in arena, so this is a fantastic nerf imo. I'm also glad warlocks will have to do more on patchwork than create this Doomguard that auto-tops the dps meters for them. Now they actually have to put some effort into it (and believe me, they'll still be at the top, or the good ones anyways).
Its also awesome that now that they changed Unstable Affliction to only be able to be cast on one target at a time, they've gone and added Immolate to that same cooldown. Everyone else has to choose what effect they are looking for and putting on opponents instead of just spamming all enemies with their little op silence dot at the same time so one mass dispel to cleanse the warriors equals an insta gib on the healer.
Now if they'll finally get to some ret and warrior arena viability I'll be delighted.
Mar 2nd 2009 4:29AM Stacking soulshards doesn't solve the primary problem I hear complaints about. I could care less about overpowered warlocks, but I do have a guild mate that has to stop doing arenas every two or three games to go farm shards.
No other class in the game has to do that. He has to STOP playing the game... to go farm shards. Or else he's entirely ineffective. I told him to just go buy some more, and he claims you can't buy them. I asked him why he didn't farm them off the critters in Dal or outside town, and he said he has to go to somewhere that would give him experience.
So if I do arenas with him, this change means we'll either have to sit there while he's purposely throwing away the game by Draining Soul on a rogue that's running around instead of killing it, or he has to stop and farm shards EVEN MORE OFTEN since he's now capped at 32 and can't just farm 100 shards beforehand.
This gets to be pretty frustrating, and I'm not going to bother doing arenas with a warlock if the only way they can be effective is to have to stop every two games to go farm shards for 10-20 minutes. He can get his own points with someone else. I'm not blaming him, but Blizzard can't honestly expect their arena partner to spend that long standing around doing nothing just because they feel like a warlock farming enough of these to last them a full night of arenas in advance is some abused mechanic. The fact that these spells still even COST SHARDS in arenas in the first place blows my mind.
