Feb 24th 2010 1:55PM Why are you even bothering if you include the Lich King in this "Thunderdome"? It is now officially a race for second.
Feb 18th 2010 1:48PM A friend convinced me to move to his PVE server to raid... Been fun but I miss the fun of PVP. Nothing beats a good Cold Blood --> Ambush --> /hug of a lvl 20 like the OP. =)
Another favorite of mine is Sap griefing... or ganking a player 5+ levels above you when they are low on health and fighting mobs.
Feb 15th 2010 12:31PM I liked a lot of these, but I gotta give mad props (and my vote) to Spookybank. Great concept! If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery , know that I am seriously contemplating copying you...
Feb 12th 2010 5:00PM People look back at 40-man raids with the same nostalgia as the old, single-server battlegrounds. People only remember the good and not the bad... and there was A LOT of bad!!
Raid size is fine. Leave it alone.
Feb 11th 2010 2:40PM Side note -- It looks like it is the Bloodlust, Cyclone, Reckoning, and Vengeance battlegroups. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe these servers are all located in Anaheim?
Feb 11th 2010 2:37PM Yes! Shadowsong has been horrific. Last night I had the double indignity of lagging for 1 minute+ to release spirit after dying due to 1 minute+ lag. Like many posters have already said... I have never been so happy to see my realm on the "Emergency Maintenance" list.
Feb 10th 2010 1:20PM As a Rogue player, I can't see how a Rogue or Hunter could possibly pull aggro. The other night I had the tank DC during the Black Knight and the tank still tanked it with my ToT only and the healer keeping him up.
Feb 8th 2010 1:58PM Frankly I think the guild here handled they only way they could with the information that they had (i.e. not knowing there was account sharing going on). I would have assumed that the person was up to something shady given the facts at hand.
If the guild leader is in a charitable mood and/or kicking them would result in more drama than it is worth, they certainly could be re-invited, with the caveat that each of them is responsible for all of their actions and if a similar situation arises the guild will not be a forgiving.
The biggest problem with account sharing is that person A gets mad at person B (or in this case persons C, D, or E!!) and gets the account banned or deletes the toons or ninjas the bank, etc. Do you really want that drama potential in your guild?
Feb 5th 2010 8:32PM I think DragonFireKai's find is the most damning evidence against Ensidia I have seen yet. They realized there was potential bugging on floor constructs and would have easily been able to connect the effect of Saronite Bombs to the bugged floor.
But, in the interests of being fair, let's just assume for a minute they didn't know the exact cause and effect...
They DID admit that they used the bug to make the encounter easier (they tanked the Lich King near the edge so that the Valkyrs would drop the raid members more quickly on the bugged floor). Therefore even if they "didn't know" what was causing the bug, they still took advantage of it. So... They cheated.
I know there is a knee-jerk reaction in the WoW community to immediately pile on Blizzard, but in this case Ensidia's protests ring about as false to me as a baseball player who says he "didn't know" what was in that shot he took. These guys are pros. They know the game inside-and-out better than you or I ever will. They knew exactly what they were doing.
