Nov 13th 2010 7:45PM "Unless you're a Power-Up Rewards member, in which case you only have to visit a GameStop once, and then the code is available to you online. That's ... more convenient."
Where does it say you must pay for the Rewards Card? Everyone who is an employee complaining about incorrect information, L2read.
Also, Pre-ordering was originally put out there as a way to order the game and guarentee a copy when it is released. Now it is basically a way to pay for the game up-front and to get money into the stores hands faster.
The problem is that places such as Gamestop still tout all games as being so few in quantity that you need to Pre-order them to get your copy, when in reality they have many many left over copies. I also do not buy from Gamestop because I prefer to buy my games 'New' and not pulled out of a drawer after they have been opened and put into a disc sleeve. At my store we open one 'Display' copy, and put all the others brand new in the back. You can still look at the box, see the games and read the boxes. (The little information they actually have).
This being said, who really reads the back of boxes, if I go to a store, I know what I want or have an idea what I want. The very little that they put on the back of the box will not help sway my decision or tell me if it is the type of game I want or not, other than the multiplayer aspect maybe.
Sep 24th 2010 7:14PM Well, if this works on Firefox, whats to stop someone from using iMacro, putting in a random search term (im not sure how) and letting it go do the daily search limit for them.
Jun 18th 2009 12:25PM Are they adding any recipe for gear and/or items for leatherworking? It may just be me but Leatherworking seems a bit lacking in content in Northrend. I loved the idea of the Drums in BC and still use these on occasion seeing as they help my kitty dps alot.
Jun 18th 2009 11:21AM I have played on a pvp server since the game started (dont recall, was beta server pvp?) I came from Lineage II so pvp in wow was not a big issue. Like was mentioned in the article, I like the feeling of having to always be aware of my suroundings. It can be annoying to be camped for 30 minutes by someone 10+ levels over you with nothing better to do, or when you help an opposite faction member kill some mob when they are obviously struggling and then they turn on you and kill you immediately after or while your fighting another mob. It also feels nice when you do that and they help you, or wave to you, thank you and go on their way. I myself try to make it a point to let a player of equal or close level eat and drink before I go into combat with them if I am innitiating it and I just ignore or wave to lower level. I do not kill them more than once unless they come after me after the one kill.
May 27th 2009 5:11PM Are they ever going to do anything with Uldum in Tanaris Desert? This place had a good quest line going up to it and then kinda died.
Feb 28th 2009 7:43PM So, I know Engineering has never been that big of a money making proffession, but now this will make it even less of one. What are they to do for us now?
