Sep 19th 2008 12:22PM With the tabards being put in to be a new way to help you gain rep, will the be implimented for Outland and Azeroth factions that have rep to grind, like the Mag'har, or will these rep grinds stay the same?
Oct 4th 2007 10:17AM A weird little known fact is that Troll skin has fine hair all over it like a rabbit... http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/story/trolls/jungletrolls.html
Aug 22nd 2007 11:09AM While in Gadgetztan me and two friends descied to lie down and see how many others we could convince to, though all in an RP manner, it was quite funny as my old guild leader walked past and got very confused when we told him 'well, if you lie down, then you might understand' and he did :D we got another Tauren and an Undead to join in too, we also got a Night elf, I think she must have been quite confused.
As the tauren left, he said ' I still don't get it, but it was nice talking to you guys' Hehe!
Aug 21st 2007 6:00PM This is the first I've heard/seen of the story/artwork, and it's got my interest for certain. I'll hopefully pick it up if I can get my hands on it over here in the UK.
Like others have said, it will depend on the writing, but although it's premice sounds simple, it should mean theey can do what they want with it, and have some cool small adventures. Also, as a (mainly) Horde side players, I'm damn happy to hear the Tauren and Trolls get a look in, as they can somtimes be forgotten :D
Aug 13th 2007 11:09AM I always loved the way that there are many different resource systems within the game already, and they all rely on different ideas to supplement them, such as Shards, Mana Crystals, Ammo etc as well as the rage and energy bars. I'm glad the new resource system is being introduced as it really will make the class feel more unique.
There are still more places they could go with new resource systems, and unless there is an obvious link to a previous one, such as Archmage and Mana, I would expect future Hero classes to have new ones. Things they could do is an consumables based class, relying on what they can carry in their bags, ammo and a few mana or energy intensive moves to supplement; Or the rune system could be translated to a Runemaster/Monk class as seen in the D20 books.
Anyways, that's my 2pence...
Aug 12th 2007 4:37PM @2 The game already supports different textures, with lower res versions of the current textures built in, so they must be making the 'high end' textures have even more detail. Oooooo.
But yeah, lovely models, and please, more Murlocs in the next expansion.
