BioWare taking SWTOR queues 'seriously' {Massively}

Dec 19th 2011 12:26PM The main problem I've seen is that Bioware seeded so many guilds into a few servers to try to create a healthy and populated community, however they failed to plan for server queues. While launch queues are bad, they really failed at planning for this.

Lichborne: Tier 11 raid and valor point gear for death knights {WoW}

Mar 9th 2011 7:27PM Just because you think it would be a DPS loss doesn't make it so. Perhaps you should do some real sims with and without expertise caps, upload them to WoL and really study your results before you make off-handed comments disregarding the hours upon hours that many of our best thoerycrafters have worked to provide you with this information.

Lichborne: Tier 11 raid and valor point gear for death knights {WoW}

Mar 9th 2011 7:23PM This article is indeed full of bad advice. The BiS lists for all 3 specs are largely different due to the different stats that all of them need. This type of generic "this is your BiS list" that covers all dps specs shows the ineptitude of wow insider these days and largely contributes to the explosion of baddies in the game.

It is really too bad that posts like this and others like it elsewhere (EJ) have driven away one of the death knight's greatest resources almost entirely from the game.

I'll miss Consider.

The Queue: Still Alive {WoW}

Oct 20th 2010 7:10PM Developing games like WoW isnt exactly flawless. The more the game expands and gets new material, the harder it becomes to code for it. I believe that one of the main reasons for the choice to revamp all of the game at once for Cata was to help simplify the development cycle. However, doing so is likely much harder than any other patch because of the level of changes done to the game.

When you start working on game development and understand the complicated nature of development, I Would strongly suggest trying to keep the above information in mind and cut them some slack. We all know that Blizzard is well known for releasing some of the most polished and well rounded games in the world. I doubt they would cut corners and do a shoddy job for WoW all while keeping the opposite philosophy for other titles.

Spiritual Guidance: The ups and downs of the 4.0.1 shadow priest {WoW}

Oct 20th 2010 6:29PM Multi-dotting the mobs is much better for DPS and hell on your mana. However, I gave up on topping the DPS meters on trash and found something far, far more fun. Applying SW:P on all the mobs and running around in circles spawning an army of shadow clones to blow up on the trash. It does decent DPS and is the most fun I've had killing trash packs ever in this game.

Clearly someone at Blizzard has been watching their fair share of Naruto.

WD's Elements Play media streamers bring internal HDDs at a presumably good price {Engadget}

Aug 9th 2010 8:57AM @dedparrot Things like this should try to hit a wide range of people who want to play digital media (pirated movies or netflix) alike. That's just good business.

Aug 9th 2010 8:56AM Personally I'd rather spend that same money and build an XBMC settop box with a Asus Aspire Revo nettop. Far more functionality and supports whatever codecs you want it to.
