Jul 16th 2009 3:19PM Some good information in here but I would like to add a couple things. If your goal is to solo then I would highly recommend specing your pet into Wild hunt. The 40% increase to your pet’s stamina is just to great to pass up. Wearing high stam gear can get your pet’s hp up to fantastic levels. My pet will have 25k+ hp when I buff him for solo. This is mostly for instance running and raids. I would also say to add Glyph of Volley as you will be using Volley a lot during trash pulls and farming. Here is the pet spec that I normally use http://www.wowhead.com/?petcalc#Mc0G0rMzbzor. It works very well. Here is a copy of the build I use it’s a 51/5/15. The main purpose of this build is to give your pet as much stam as you can get it. http://www.wowarmory.com/talent-calc.xml?cid=3&tal=052032015252122001305310510050000000000000000000000005003002500000000000000000000 I hope that this helps
May 27th 2009 3:59PM I was wondering if there has been any talk about inscription being able to learn the different languages. I think it would be very interesting for an inscriptor to be able to learn one of the other fractions languages through some type of quest chain. The inscriptor could go to different enemy cities to steal books so that they could learn the language. Allowing only max level inscriptors and one language could help to keep this balanced.

I’m not asking Blizzard to make craft able items requiring two gathering items. Sorry if there was some miscommunication on my part. I am trying to get across the need for another profession to be based around leather. As you stated leather is the most abundant source of materials within the game yet only one profession uses leather as a constant material.
“Pure consumable only have big mat components + vendor component.”
This is what is needed for leatherworking and there is currently nothing that does this. In TBC leatherworker at least had drums. Only leatherworkers could use them but they still were consumables and helped keep the demand of leather more constant. I personally enjoy professions and would like to see more attention towards them. Every MMO I have played with some type of profession I always level them as they are an important aspect of the game. When I first started WOW I was disappointed by the amount of professions. The lack of Fletching was my largest disappointment, the inability to create bows, crossbows, and arrows while guns are a constant. Fletching also bring Lumbering which I don’t see as being part of the WOW universe anytime soon.
Feb 24th 2009 11:14AM My question is about the future of skinning. Right now all of the other gathering profession have at least two professions that use their materials. Mining has Blacksmith, Jewelry and Engineering. Herb has Alchemy and Inscription. Skinning only has Leatherworking. Granted some of the other professions use leather in some recipes but the main use of leather is Leatherworkers. The problem with this is that currently there are no consumable leathercrafted items or BoP items. Yes there are the leg enchantments but that's not an item which is being constantly consumed, it is a one time item that is used on newly acquired gear. This lack of consumable has created an overwhelming supply of leather setting the price for a stack of Heavy Borean Leather to sell for 40g(on my server). This unreasonable price point has made farming undesirable and the only skinning I was performing occurred in the form of poaching while completing dailies. I have now abandoned skinning and leatherworking for more profitable professions. My question comes down to how can skinning become a viable source of income? Will a future expansions create another profession based around leather and if so what would be this profession? Will we see some addition of a consumable leather item in a future patch? A Bola would be a great consumable that I have seen implemented in past MMOs with great review. “Bolas, throwing weapon made of weights on the ends of interconnected cord” This would be an item for pvp as it would have the ability to dismount a player. I think with the addition of this item leatherworking and skinning could be saved.
Aug 29th 2008 10:31AM These changes are horrible. SV is loosing the only thing going for them in PVE, EW. Just when it was looking like SV would become a more playable class. At least WAR is coming out soon. Just another reason for me to play it. Blizzard stop messing up the game bc noobs complain.
Aug 11th 2008 11:54AM My question is about hunter's pets and their stable.
I am a hunter that raids as BM spec and pvp as MM spec. How will this affect my exotic pets? Will I be able to keep my exotic stabled without it releasing? Once in the stable will it be unable to be removed? Or will I be forced to remain as one spec?
