Jul 20th 2009 9:46AM If Horde got Worgen, I'd bench my main/geared shaman (rolled her on Day1) and level up another one (would make my 4th +70 sham). Even if I was required to put Barrens Chat on vox and listen to it spoken aloud - I would still be happily slaughtering zhevras for their hooves.
If the Alliance got Worgen...I don't know...
Might reroll on an RP server and be a 'spy' for Thrall, but it would be really tough.
The comments have been pretty convincing that the worgs would go to the Alliance, and that makes me sad. Human territory gives me the creeps, >.>
An alternate suggestion would be to make lycanthropy a permanent curse you could get on an existing character. Have it set up to give bonuses and debuffs whenever you're in wolfie form, (didn't read all of the comments or threads on this, so my apologies if it's been suggested before).
I highly doubt they would do this - the mechanics of having temporary (day/night or proc) racial changes like that would probably fill reams of code.
Jun 18th 2009 12:27PM You know...the kid who wrote that is going to tell his friend(s?) that his fanfiction was made into a movie.
And he will be proud.
And hopefully will "r3st on h1s lolerls" never write again.
Great movie though, co-workers are looking at me funny for laughing so loud, =)
Jun 12th 2009 2:46PM Maybe I misread something - but it didn't seem to me that they were talking of making our buffs an aura - but more of a straight up 'buff' spell, similar to MotW or AI.
The only way I could see to cut the possible OPness of such a thing would to put a max range on the effect (similar to an aura) or make it concentration based (similar to what DAoC had).
Concentration buffs were cool and obnoxious at the same time. You could cast a dozen or more buffs on different people, but that was all - once your concentration pool was spent, you couldn't buff anyone else without dropping an existing buff. This meant you could use more than one shaman in your raid, but weren't limited to only getting buffs through your immediate group.
I love fist weapons too - WraithStrike was on my wish list from the first moment I heard of it. I wouldn't mind being able to craft more fistweapons with BSmithing - I think there is only one pattern that I've seen (though I can't find it on WoWHead now for some reason...).
I am definitely looking forward to not having 4 pack slots eaten up by totems - more room for DRESSE COLLECTION! =D (at 120+pcs now)
Jun 8th 2009 9:30AM We were trying to drop the Scarlet Courier one night and a human pally /bugged the encounter somehow.
We waited and a GM gnome chick in a robe popped up.
Thankfully I stopped myself - my first instinct was: "FLAGGED GNOME! KILL IT!"
We never did get the Courier, even after the GM tried to reset her a few times.
May 22nd 2009 9:44AM Some ideas:
Wisp (Well, there's already a Linkin quest...)
Skeleton (complete with headbanger's dance)
Baby Murloc (I didn't want to complete the "Oh NOES!" quest because they were too adorable)
Baby Doomguard (don't ever see them that much, give the model some love!)
Toy Zepplin (engineering pattern)
Pony (FOR PONY!)
Apr 23rd 2009 9:28AM I recently culled a lot of old trinkets and stuff to make more room for my dress collection (probably closing in on 100pcs now - WTB portable 30slot armor chests!).
I'm two slots short of having full 20+ bags and I carry at least a dozen outfits with me wherever I go. Everything not soulbound is already muled on an Alt.
I admit that I still have the first hammer Thrall gave me and a number of other sentimental items that I refuse to part with.
But if my collection keeps growing...I'll probably dump my mining bag first.
Apr 16th 2009 1:58PM Nice video, the song is catchy and the visuals fit well.
Now if I could just figure out where everyone keeps getting the X-Ray Dog songs for their machin's, I'd be happy.
Apr 2nd 2009 9:40AM Even if it's a joke, it's nice to see other ASOIAF fans around, =)
Mar 2nd 2009 6:10PM So glad I'm not the only one, haha
Jan 20th 2009 10:22AM It hurts me that some of the images are broken - I think the guide is hilarious!
