May 10th 2010 2:09PM This is the absolute worst representation of dps you could possibly put together. It tells us nothing about how well each spec actually performs, only how inept so many people playing this game are.

The spell on the alpha wiki has a typo. It should say "while hexed you cannot cast or attack". It's CC that lets you still move at a slowed speed, but not attack or cast at all.
Nov 5th 2007 12:06PM They're absolutely justified. I have zero doubt that the main purpose for this change was to reduce the effectiveness of heavy dps teams that simply rely on chains of interrupts like counterspell and spell lock to keep a healer out of the action. But as a side effect, it destroys the viability of earthshock, a 2 second interrupt. earthshock's only strength was how frequently it could be used, but with this change, teams arent going to want shamans to use it much at all: it'll cut the duration of counterspells in half. its a very big, very stupid nerf for a class that doesnt need any.

because rogues do more dps than anyone else. duh.
Oct 14th 2007 1:53PM Not every class fulfills all 3 roles. There is nothing wrong with that, as long as the class still has 3 distinct and fun talent trees.
Paladins however do have a DPS tree, tanking tree, and healing tree, and for this reason they should be 'viable' in every role.
Sep 25th 2007 10:13PM the biggest reason to not make the form shifting buttons direct is you would need a new button for your default caster form.
Sep 23rd 2007 1:52AM almost all of those are just terrible ideas honestly.
Sep 3rd 2007 9:44AM jesus, whoever wrote this article hasnt really payed much attention to these classes have they?
we cant BoP a tank, so therefore, paladins have no 'damage shields' to really use in raids, unless a dumb caster gets aggro.
and you totally forgot about shamans' earthshield somehow...
Sep 1st 2007 1:13AM why should MS warriors get it over paladins or shamans? none of us use 2 handers in pve lawl.
Aug 30th 2007 12:27AM Siij's idea, and no he did not get the consent from anyone to put them on the square. it was his way of griefing people on his own faction, as he put it. it was a lot of fun.
