What's happening with those new race/class combos, anyway? {WoW}

May 15th 2010 9:36AM What I really want a leak of, and or proper info on, is Troll and Worgen Druid forms. I just can't picture Worgen Cat form ya know? Something fundamentally wrong with that. Similarly, I wanna see their new Boomkin forms.

Countdown to Wrath Giveaway: Day 1 - BlizzCon Polar Bear Mount {WoW}

Nov 12th 2008 9:00AM Much love for swag! Tiny murlocs on mount ftw!

Breakfast Topic: Idiosyncrasies {WoW}

Oct 27th 2008 8:29AM As a priestess dedicated to the light, I felt it was vital to take up the ultimate Light weapon, Benediction, even at level 70. I don't raid with it, but I keep it on me whenever I roam towns.

I did every single warrior quest, solo, just to have done them with pride.

Breakfast Topic: So what sorta pet are you gonna get? {WoW}

Oct 3rd 2008 8:19AM I'd prefer to keep my owl, but I gotta say, the exotics are drawing me away from him. I'm thinking of getting Kergen since I don't like the normal corehound model. Alternatively, A standard silithid is really tempting

Breakfast Topic: Local guilds {WoW}

Sep 22nd 2008 8:27AM Well, I've been in 2 "local" guilds. The first consisted of just an extended group of friends within about a 20 mile radius of eachother. The other was an unofficial college guild for players at the school, although it was technically 2 guilds, one of each faction with an inside reference to the primary campus hang out.

Blizzard tosses Priest racials out the window {WoW}

Sep 16th 2008 8:22AM Well, I have mixed feelings about this. I'm a draenei priest, and I'm proud I chose her not for "racials" but for being made of awesome. I don't mind sharing the hope around, it's frickin great, and the retuning makes it even better!

But I am saddened, cause as I see it, I will be losing Chastise, a spell I have come to rely on in my soloing DPS rotation. I don't even know what devouring plague does, but somehow plaguing people and being a priest just seems wrong.

Ask a Beta Tester: Of Paladins and Primals {WoW}

Sep 11th 2008 4:08PM I have another question:

Three stat items became the new standard in BC for Green quality gear (Bandit, Sorcerer, Champion, etc) and old single/2 stat items became vendor or DE trash.

Do we still see old item drops (Owl, Wolf, Bear, etc) or the BC types, or does LK bring a whole new variety?

Oh, what fresh hell is this? {WoW}

Sep 11th 2008 9:02AM Personally, I still cry BS that it takes the same amount of reputation to become exalted with a group of 30 odd ball tribesman as it does to be exalted with an organization as large as the state of Stormwind.

Timbermaw, Sporegar, CE, HH, placed like this are a few dozen to 150 people TOPS. It doesn't take long to earn a reputation as reliable and helpful with a group that size. Darnasus on the other hand numbers in the thousands+, yea, becoming well known (IE: exalted) would be a royal pain.

I wish Blizz would scale rep rewards more realistically so that a tiny faction takes less effort than a massive one.

Breakfast Topic: If you could choose your racials {WoW}

Sep 11th 2008 8:53AM Maybe we need two separate categories:
Racials, 2 fixed traits for everyone by species
vs
Training, a pool where you pick two skills you acquired independently of your class.

Will of the Forsaken is a Racial, Unending Breath is a Training.

Human Spirit is a Racial, Diplomacy is training, Etc, etc.

Breakfast Topic: If you could choose your racials {WoW}

Sep 11th 2008 8:41AM Diplomacy for all my characters, I'm so sick of rep grinds it's not even funny...

I'd also like to see more "Racial" class specific abilities, such as the priest racials spread around. Tauren Warriors get an ability to gore people with their horns. Or Dwarves get a bonus buff for being drunk.

More universal ones such as a shield block bonus, haggling (better vendor prices), and Braveheart (Increased resist to fears by 2%)
