Feb 28th 2009 12:00AM Aren't we supposed to be the HoT healers, keeping a steady stream of healing going while other healers handle big spikes? But I'm getting the impression they really want us to spam Regrowth+Nourish, or - heck I don't know. This nerf may work out for me in raids as I am usually usually back up on the tanks, while spreading HoTs around the raid. So I lose the stack more than I'd like - the mana give back might help there. Maybe. But double the cost? Really? Come to think of it, the only way I'm going to break even on current mana usage is to let it bloom every time. I can't figure what they are up to. This will certainly make 5-man heroics more exciting. Thanks Blizz.
Feb 15th 2009 2:11AM Well, I still need all new gear if I'm going switch from tree to owl for a raid or heroic, 'cause my healing gear has exactly +0 to hit. Uff. Probably I'll continue to heal in instances, and use the moonkin for dailies.
Dec 9th 2008 3:21AM I've been a resto druid since the beginning of time, more or less, I actually don't have a lot of complaints. If anything, it's gotten easier to play as time goes on (for the most part). I've just been annoyed that post-70, I've been paying for a lot more feral level ups than reso or balance. About 2-1 as best I can tell.
Dec 3rd 2008 5:08PM Spawn areas include the dead whale south of the quest giver, the village, the abandoned fishing post that is down the beach almost all the way to Unupe (4-5 nodes) and near the various nets and fishing poles scattered up and down the beach. Even on crowded days this never takes me more than a couple minutes because most folks only hit the village, maybe the whale.
Dec 1st 2008 12:40PM Is it just me, or do the professions seem unfinished? A handful of transmutes to get alch from the low 400s to 450, and a discovery once a week. Cooking 450? What needs 450 to cook?
Nov 17th 2008 3:30PM I've played WoW a lot since Wrath came out. Worked on leveling my main, rolled a DK, much fun. I also did a thorough clean of my my house, spent most of a day visiting with friends, had lunch with my mom, went to work, played with the cat, etc. etc. Some people are nuts.
Oct 15th 2008 1:36AM Quo Vadis is not the worst guild ever. On Gnomeragon I have an abandoned mage named Destino who joined the guild Dragons Alliance. I checked in a while ago - I'm the only member left! So I spammed a few recruitment messages - "Dragons Alliance - we are not friendly, help nobody, could care less about leveling, raids, or PvP. No guild bank, no tabard. Pst if interested, but no one is ever on line."
Oct 14th 2008 11:47PM Ok, but I got in twice and now can't get back in. My achievements have been checked, my quests dealt with, my BG tokens turned into currency. The facts are simple. We pay these folks millions - when my cable goes out, I complain. Why? Because I paid for this service already. Same thing here - we paid in full. Things should not be this bad. I anticipated some lag today, but this is nuts.
Oct 14th 2008 3:42PM Enchanting is changing big as well. With the scrolls that inscriptionists make, enchanters will now be able to sell enchants in the AH. I imagine also that some of the enchantments will have to change as a result of the spellpower consolidation.
Oct 6th 2008 2:36PM Not challenging enough? Has he ever tried to get a tank for a five-man pug? But seriously, there are all kinds of content that might as well be word puzzles written in ancient Hittite for all the luck I'm going to have pulling them off, because I don't belong to a high-end raiding guild, and I don't really want to. I won't be seeing the inside of Black Temple any time soon. Heck, ancient Hittite puns would actually be an easier challenge - that I can probably find a book on, and I don't have to spend every waking hour raiding to figure it out.
