Breakfast Topic: The other half {WoW}

Apr 2nd 2010 8:55AM I play both sides in order to see the story and lore. Horde has deep personally involving story while Alliance got the epic grandeur. In fact, when it comes to epic quest lines (excepting the Wrathgath) the Horde got shorted big time.

Breakfast Topic: Your favorite mount? {WoW}

Apr 16th 2009 8:22AM Any mount besides an Elekk. Seriously.

Arcane Brilliance: Patch 3.1 Musings {WoW}

Feb 7th 2009 6:59PM Seconding frozencore's statement. The extra 15 seconds on the elemental makes a big difference on the frost mage's dps. That's 15 seconds of extra damage, mana regen, and 15 less seconds wasted cooldown time.

Please don't nerf our blue buddy.

Countdown to Wrath giveaway special: Slashdance loot cards {WoW}

Nov 13th 2008 7:01AM Up early to camp Target for a CE. Oh, and I had to take out the garbage early enough not to miss the garbage truck.

Countdown to Wrath Giveaway: Day 1 - BlizzCon Polar Bear Mount {WoW}

Nov 12th 2008 7:54AM Sargeras is too big to ride this mount. I guess I'll have to take it.

Countdown to Wrath Giveaway: Day 5 - Footprints of Illidan loot card {WoW}

Nov 8th 2008 11:13AM I just wanna smell that new card smell.

Countdown to Wrath Giveaway: Day 6 - BlizzCon Aunthenticators {WoW}

Nov 7th 2008 2:38PM Please make my account secured by beauty.

Countdown to Wrath Giveaway: Day 6 - 60-day game time card {WoW}

Nov 7th 2008 12:51PM The card. It is so shiny.

Blizzard Calendar vs Group Calendar {WoW}

Nov 6th 2008 9:33AM Agreed with Rihlsul. My guild is in an alliance of guilds that team up for raiding. GC let's us share the calendar entries between guilds automatically so anyone in the guilds may sign up or not as they choose. In game calendar requires every single person be invited individually.

The in game calendar is entirely unsuited to our needs until it allows easier invites and cross guild functionality.

The Daily Grind: What does WoW do better than any other MMO? {Massively}

Apr 24th 2008 9:58AM During my WoW lifetime I tried LotRO, EVE, and CoH. I always return to WoW. There really is a finished feel to WoW that the other games just don't have.

The WoW interface...clicking on objects and buttons, dealing with the menus and boxes, character interaction, and moving around the smooth and untroublesome. When playing the other MMOs I feel like I'm playing older, less polished games.

Playing Wow creates very little frustration from interface or content, and it's easier for new players to learn than the other games (as I've learned from teaching these games to my girlfriend). It's simply cleaner on the interface and interactions, and provides a better playing experience overall.
