Nov 12th 2008 12:05AM That looks absolutely amazing!!!!
May 19th 2008 3:33PM We have several guild Kara runs each week, but they are all for the purpose of farming badges. We've eliminated all of the unnecessary time to explain fights and mastered what cc to use and where. On Saturday’s run, we had one (super leet) healer, one paladin tank, and 8 dps (4 of which were mages).
I’ve never seen Curator drop faster since he was dead before he even finished the first evocate. Of course, it has its drawbacks, since we wiped on Ilhoof when he selected our one and only healer as the first sacrifice and had to try again.
It wasn’t the fastest run ever, but probably one of the most fun I remember. I wish I would had screen-shotted the 4 mages synchronized iceblocking after the tank was silenced and the boss went down the aggro list. We do bring in guildie’s alts to help gear them up (or get some “training” pieces for off-sets.)-but not too many at a time so we can keep it pretty speedy :)
May 19th 2008 2:30PM Okay, I should probably admit that I exploit this as much as possible when I'm in the mood to gank some alliance. There are some perfect spots that will allow you to kill without being killed (well, at least for a long range caster). I find nothing more entertaining than the ignite from my fireball or pyroblast killing them as they run away... Of course, they're too far for me to even get honor from-but that's not exactly the purpose.
Now that being said, if you gank repeatedly in the same spot long enough-peacekeepers will spawn. Usually in multiples. Which then cause durability loss since they ALWAYS spawn while I'm casting!
Apr 1st 2008 10:24AM Thank God this day only comes around once a year. I honestly closed it and re-opened it, thinking that I was somehow randomly re-directed to something completely stupid... It was all the pink and fluffy things, ick!
Feb 11th 2008 1:19PM I'm a gamer girl too, but I certainly wouldn't take any of this to the extreme. My guild No eXcuses on Mannoroth has very few women in it, but that hasn't ever bothered me. I don't mind when they call me sweetie or hon, because we're all just a part of the same WOW family!
In fact, I have to say that the players on my server go out of their way to help me out. They've helped me max out my stats, quest/raid for gear, farm for mats, as well as just be there beside me to heal me in Gruul's! I don't think it's really special treatment, since we try to help everyone improve. It makes those end-game instances and raids FUN! Just my two cents though.
Jan 28th 2008 8:35AM Before the servers crashed, Mannoroth had a huge Halaa battle. On the Horde side, there were over two full raid groups there alone. The lag was so bad that you were unable to turn around, so AOE was the only thing working. After doing that for quite a while, no one was even getting battles tokens anymore.
Of course, that goes along with the rest of the servers. BGs and instances were down-since people were all along, huge impromptu raids were scheduled!
Jan 3rd 2008 9:56AM Keeping my fingers crossed for the last set of presents!!!!
Jan 2nd 2008 2:37PM The decorations are gone and you're still giving away presents? You're fabulous!
