Feb 16th 2007 2:04PM Yeah, my friends and I have trouble finding warrior tanks even for 5-man groups. Tanking usually falls to our Druid. If he's missing we have to fall back on a Paladin alt (at the expense of a priest main) or *gasp* pet tanking!
Aug 30th 2006 10:22AM I plan to create a pally just to get to the Avenger's Shield, lol
Aug 14th 2006 10:53AM My dad got turned off by it. Everytime he happens to look at my screen, I'm running/riding to/from a farm zone/quest/instance. He calls WoW "The Marathon Game". His most frequent comment is "that dwarf is STILL running?"
Jun 1st 2006 11:19PM This is great stuff... Glad to see someone doing this on the other continent (Kalimdor). Last time I heard of someone pulling a mob to a newbie zone was Stitches pulled to Goldshire!
May 12th 2006 11:54AM The lore is one of the biggest reasons I'm so interested in WoW. I've played through all of the games in the WC series, and I like how the pay homage to even the finest details of the series (Sorrow Hill's tomb to Uther Lightbringer for one). The stories in WC were pretty good, and the bittersweet victories in the WC campaigns left room for cool gameplay opportunities/scenarios in WoW.
Now if Blizz made a StarCraft MMORPG, we can call them truly evil...
May 4th 2006 10:23AM My hunter was a LW/Skinner until he hit 49. I was too focused on level grinding that I ignored my crafting, and could only items inappropriate to my level. I decided to switch to Engineering, figuring I'd use bullets and scopes more than armor I'd be replacing with raid gear.
Engineering turned out to be a real fun craft, with great stuff aside from bullets, guns and scopes. Haven't looked back since. :)
Apr 4th 2006 5:11PM I usually arrange my quests in such a way that I have a minimum of travel time. For example, Duskwood:
- Do a "kill werewolves" quest
- Go to Sven and do a "kill skeletons" quest (and turn it in)
- Go to Jitters and pick up a delivery quest
- Head back to Darkshire and turn in the werewolves quest --- pick up a new werewolf slaughter quest and grab what Jitters needs too
- head out, kill more wolves.
- go back to Jitters.
And in between I do all the misc stuff like send stuff to my AH character, repair armor, check mail, etc.
