Feb 25th 2010 5:05AM I've been kicked exactly twice, both times from PoS by guild groups just before the final boss, presumably because the dps trinket was "reserved" and they were such dickheads that they couldn't just tell me at the beginning and give me the chance to not get saved and waste 15 mins of my life.
Aug 9th 2008 4:27PM Just out of interest - no undead skins in the gallery; can undead not be Death Knights?
Apr 8th 2008 6:38AM If anyone is setting up a level 70 guild on an EU server, let me know! I'd like to get to the end of some end-game content for once, and am happy to put off buying the expansion.
Apr 7th 2008 8:39AM I've only ever rolled on PVE servers. I prefer to fight honourably - I don't attack a flagged player unless he attacks me, or we are both at full health. I always turn PVP on first, since first strike is such a huge advantage.
The thought of trying to level on a PVP server where people like to ambush you at half health after killing quest mobs? No thanks.
Mar 14th 2008 9:22AM Allow free respec (a certain number per day, if you prefer), or allow characters to have multiple swappable specs at the same time (2 maybe, pve & pvp).
Feb 11th 2008 8:42AM Cheers Orno.
Going by the wowjutsu stats, ~9% of guilds are on BT/MH. Seems a shame that Blizzard is putting so much effort into building content that (a) serves so few players, and (b) will presumably be as popular in WotLK as AQ40 is now.
Feb 11th 2008 8:21AM I'd be interested to know what percentage of the WoW population is anywhere near TK, let alone Sunwell. I have the impression that most guilds stall after Kara because of the big jump in membership needed for the next raid (you have to grow your guild by 150%).
Anyone know of a nifty website that can give server progression stats?
Feb 6th 2008 8:52AM WTB 15- and 20- man raids, at the right difficulty & gear level, to ease guild growth & progression.
Nov 13th 2007 10:04AM A hunter is a ranged dps class with a pet to tank. Perhaps what we need to do is give tanks a ranged dps pet?
Just kidding of course.
Nov 8th 2007 1:39PM Have a look at http://www.wowwiki.com/Race
If people chose their faction, race, and class completely randomly, and the new races had been available from the outset, then the class distribution should like this (Okoloth's figures in brackets for comparison):
warrior: 17.3% (13.5%)
rogue: 15.4% (12.1%)
hunter: 13.5% (13.1%)
priest: 13.5% (10.8%)
mage: 11.5% (12.1%)
paladin: 9.6% (10.0%)
warlock: 9.6% (11.0%)
shaman: 7.7% ( 7.9%)
druid: 3.8% ( 9.0%)
So, I'd say that the warrior, rogue, and priest are in fact *less* popular than you'd expect, while only druid is way more popular than you'd expect.
