Dec 6th 2010 10:43PM awww so cute.
Nov 2nd 2010 4:15PM I've been Blood tanking for sometime now. When 4.0 hit it did take a bit of adjustment when dealing with the new system, but i feel that most have settled into it and are content with the changes.
As for Disease less tanking, I have been using it and have seen great results. Though In 5 mans in the WotLK system, i still use Frost fever. My typical rotation is: As I'm running in drop DnD > Deathstrike my primary target for Blood shield > Icytouch > Pest > Bloodboil. That way all my runes are on cooldown, I have a decent amount of RP, and I'm mitigating as much damage as possible. It may be possible to use this rotation on single target too if there is no other slower attack speed debuff in raid, but there is pretty much all the time so then i forgo the icy touch/DnD for the more helpful Deathstrike.
Using this system I very rarely lose aggro in AoE situations, and if I do, it's mostly due to that brainless warrior who charges the offtarget and goes to town.
I must say, I can't wait for the days of Cata where DPSing the wrong target will result in their death.

There always has been choice in gemming Tank gear. Not every tank subscribed to the thought of gemming nothing but stam in WotLK. My gear till this day has stam/hit gems and stam/expertise gems. I actually wouldn't be saying this change blows if I didn't currently have better choices.

Hit scales in raids now. From one tier of encounters to the next. So you may be hit capped in Blackwing Descent, but going into Firelands during the next content patch you will be going into below the hit cap. I suppose reforging could make up for this, but in the ned it removes choice for us tanks.
Plus, i tanked all through WotLK and hit was always a hard stat to come by on tank gear till ICC. But ICC gear was flooded with hit and then it became harder to find expertise.
Oct 12th 2010 5:31PM Hit being blue is not an interesting choice for Tanks. It actually sucks.....hard.
Sep 13th 2010 3:54PM Well i wasn't one of those people so not only is your comment unjustly smug, It's irrelevant as well.
Please do remember people that this is a rumor. Treat it as such. To say that Blizzard is 1 or 2 builds ahead internally means nothing when it still has to be beta tested. There is tons of content completely unfinished and tested right now in beta. Raids have not even been implemented. That's HUGE. Especially when Cata is shipping with 3 (or is it 2?) NEW raids.
Then after that, it has to go gold. Which we will know the day it happens like we've known for every other Expansion
I think the most telling thing that Cata release has been pushed back from initial plans is How Heroic Deadmines and SFK were going to be implemented at a later patch, then retracted that they would be available at release.
Sep 13th 2010 1:30PM Although i do consider MMO a credible Source, and i do believe Nov. 2 was the initial goal for release. i just don't see it happening considering all the things that are not even on the beta yet. Female Worgen, Worgen Mounts, 10/25 man raids, A few of the old zones are still up for changes, etc.
I'm still thinking January, although crazier things have happened.
