Feb 7th 2010 5:40PM I cannot begin to emphasize on every Paladin having a Pally Power.. it is REQUIRED for every paladin.. back in TBC and beginning of wotlk, you would hardly find a paladin that wasn't using it.. I mean.. just this last pug there were six paladins in the raid and only me and including one tank had Pally Power installed.. we had to whisper the other idiots classes they are to buff..
I mean come on.. PP makes life easier ..

Red, Blue, Green = Cardinal
unless you want to have socket bonus (for +sp or +haste) then
Blue = Purified
Yellow = Reckless
I've had the same setup when i was a FF. The bonus crit you get from armor should be more than enough because as far as gemming goes, sacrificing 11 sp for 11 crit is just worth it.
My mage has 765 haste with some 2800 SP. My gear isn't the best in the game but I have decent. I am in top 5 with these stats among my TOGC geared guildies so I don't see where I am going wrong with this gemming style

i've been tanking through NAXX / OS3D and Ulduar Hardmode and i can say that best thing is Tabbing + Mouse Clicking.. in fights like OS3D you cannot rely on click tanking.. because of the reason that you have to move too much and there are more than one thing that if you taunt, you'll end up wiping the whole raid..
so best thing is.. Tab + Taunt and anything that you cannot tab (since it has a range) = click and voila ..

why is it that spirit is so viable to other classes than us, mages?
we get crit rating against spirit.. relatively increasing a chance of something happening.. while others get straight up buff to their spellpower ..
I remember reading GC's post in which he said..
they won't make things like where Mage A with no Spirit will be better than Mage B with spirit .. both will do same damage.. how is this possible with 3% ~ 4% nerf to crit strike?
From my stand point; what they did is basically nerfed the whole class and gave a way to do dps as they should (or were doing) by stacking spirit based gear.. you call this useful, i call this idiotic.
Mar 17th 2009 11:53PM yeah but the point is also the straight up 10 expertise ratings..
I mean you could cover it through putting same gear as warrior and go about but at the same time, you could move away from expertise in gear towards gear that has more +hit or a bit more avoidance per say..
I think Glyph + SoV should be a bit better than Glyph + SoR in 3.1, provided that you have decent amount of expertise and +hit..
You'll easily be able to balance threat with survival.. when you don't waste stats, you save up on more stam, avoidance and what not..
