Mar 19th 2012 3:03AM They look like fat chippettes... I want one!
Mar 13th 2012 12:19PM Am I the only warlock that's glad to hear we're the least liked class? All this complaining gets me excited. The fewer the better. Everyone stay away!
Jan 22nd 2012 12:36AM I have not played SWTOR, but I've seen every "wow killer" result in a flux of players leaving the game for a month and returning stating how "loyal" they are. I'm a perfectly content layer and just leave it up to Blizzard at this point. For a change of pace I'll play D3 when it comes out, but I'll be back on wow shortly thereafter and eagerly anticipating Titan. Heck, I still play Warcraft III. Simply put, every time I've tried another game it has never lived up to Blizzard's high quality I've come to expect, and why I believe Blizzard has traditionally late on nearly every release until the last couple wow xpacs.
The exceptions to this are Thief and Homeworld. And the reason I bring this up is several of the posters have mentioned problems with feeling "walled-in" as a problem in SWTOR. Personally, after having played Homeworld, I kinda feel that way with wow even though Azeroth is huge... oddly enough, Vivendi/Blizzard purchased Sierra Games that owns the rights to Homeworld (which was a genuinely infinite universe). I find it interesting that Homeworld 2 was considered a leap in gaming because it was also written with LUA. Which makes me curious how much of the Sierra acquisition has had an influence on Warcraft... specifically with Homeworld. And really, if there was any one game SWTOR could have modeled space after, Homeworld would have been the game, which is still fun to play even after ten years (gotta run it in my Windows 7 PowerShell though).
Feb 9th 2010 5:10PM Am I the only one who checks all the 'worst' videos to see if I'm in them?
Feb 9th 2010 12:12PM Nice contest! Already have the first edition, the second edition would be great as well.
Feb 9th 2010 12:07PM I'm sorry, but a topic everyone's been dealing with for five years + lame video = fail. This isn't wow.com worthy imho.
Jan 11th 2010 11:20AM How about the new it'd never happen to you either if you didn't share your information or fall for phishing scams. I know it's tough, but it's called using common sense.
Jan 11th 2010 11:09AM I've had two accounts since the game started over five years ago and have NEVER changed my username or password (other than what was required for the battle.net switch) and have NEVER had my account hacked. So-called "hacked" accounts are the direct result of people sharing their information and that information being leaked through other means or stupid people not screening their e-mail closely enough and failing to recognize phishing. Mandatory authenticators is an absolutely ridiculous measure. It's bad enough people are rewarded with an ingame pet for getting one.
Aug 30th 2007 9:29AM hmmm... am I the only one that sees the PlayStation Wii out of this?
