Apr 12th 2009 9:05AM 1. It would be nice to be able to buy Tier 8 tokens from badges that drop off of the tier 8 bosses. Sure 7.5 is an upgrade, no I dont want 25 man equivalent gear. I just think it would be nice to be able to buy a couple of tier pieces from the content I am on from the tokens that drop from said tier.
Can folks stop pretending that farming the current 25 man content makes them hardcore? Let's wait until their is a "guild killer" of an encounter or 2 that either shatters a guild or strengthens it before we start throwing around "hardcore"
Dec 13th 2008 5:47PM IMO Haste is not what a paladin should be worried about stacking.
In my opinion:
Aug 28th 2008 2:22PM yeah
so someone likes another game better more than WoW.
This isn't news.
And, to me, it isn't interesting.
What it is is the straw that broke the camel's back.
Time to remove WoW insider from the favorites bar.
Jul 29th 2008 10:56AM remember when encounters where balanced around you having every single possible buff you could get your hands on?
It wasnt fun.
Bliizzard has consistently gotten better at creating and balancing content. Please dont assume that just because current content requires/encourages chain potting that new content will.
Jul 25th 2008 10:38AM I wasnt replacing my AQ40/BWL gear until 64-66 range.
Naxx gear was good until 70 in some cases.
so if you didnt have very good gear, yes it was replaced quickly.
if you had awesome gear, it maintained its value longer.
so I would guess that most people who are complaining about a gear reset are those that have not-so-good gear that they have spent an inordinate amount of time gathering. So since you have already proven that you will spend large amounts of time for small rewards.....Blizzard probably isnt too concerned with your complaints.
Jul 17th 2008 4:03PM I hate the idea of them.
I will go out of my way to avoid them.
This could be the thing that makes me quit the game.
Less hamster wheel more fun please
Jun 17th 2008 2:54PM hey remember when Blizzard nerfed quests completed @ 60 prior to TBC?
Cause I do.
Jun 9th 2008 2:50PM I am not a botter. I would never bot as its against the "rules"
I also think that levelling isn't fun. I don't enjoy it very much. It is something that one has to do to enjoy the content 2 max level. If I could bot a toon to 70 I would. So I could enjoy the content I want to, and not the mindless, boring, levelling that I have to endure.
@ the fool that compares levelling a toon to starting a chess game....WoW used to start @ 60. Now it starts @ 70. Levelling is how you get there.
Apr 23rd 2008 7:13PM Do I want to the ability to change some of my characters race? Yes. I play this game for fun and enjoyment. I think it would be fun to change my Human Warrior to a Dwarf. Or my Orc Shaman to a troll.
Am I stomping my feet and threatening to quit the game forever and ever if I cant? No. I really dont care that I cant. Not the end of the world. Its really not even an overcast day to me.
The people to which this is a huge deal, a symbol of what is wrong with this generation/country/world....they need to chillax. Its a game, play it for your own enjoyment. If what someone else's opinion of something they think would be pretty cool upsets you. It might be time to examine what is really bothering you.
I cant imagine that race changes in the world of warcraft could garner that much angst (either pro or con)
