Nov 29th 2007 3:28PM I'd add in Halaa! You're going to want to get that +10 res gem to stick in some gear at somepoint, so go start some PvP there. Heck, you can even get 2 starter pieces of PvP gear there.
But as someone else said, you can still help out in AV while getting your honor points for the S1 gear and otherwise learning.
If you've been 70 for a while, there's also doing heroics for the PvP cloak and trinket, along with running some non-heroics for some of the PvP gear that drops (a sword in BM, runed fungal cap in UB, etc).

That's pretty spot on. You can be OK (fun, not die in 2sec in AV/etc) with 200 res and
Nov 15th 2007 5:02PM I was thinking, on the FD boss fight thing, they probably did it to not let hunters have a bres, at least then. Something I wanted to try on the PTR, but didn't get a chance to, was seeing if now that Jumper Cables aren't a trinket, if we could indeed get out of combat long enough to try 'em out.
Nov 14th 2007 3:07PM @36, I couldn't believe it when I read the story and had to try myself. Indeed, what the heck! I'm BM and I'm proud of my ability to double trap stuff when I need to.
Oct 30th 2007 12:37PM As an engineer, this makes me a little sad. I was looking forward to making the ammo gizmos for myself and the rest of the hunters in my raids, esp since 1k ammo stacks in 1 slot and even with the bigger quiver/pouches, I know people are still going to carry a few extras.... But now it'll be all Mysterious all the time. Oh well.
Oct 25th 2007 4:44PM I've got a shammy alt I'm going to park at 35 until 2.3 comes out (based on lvl of the Dustwallow stuff I did on my 70 on the PTR). I have to agree with poster #2, I don't plan on really caring about gear, even with the new instance stuff until OL. I'm gonna try and run some instances if I see a group but still, it just doesn't matter except to twinking. So please, gear guides for OL. :)
Oct 25th 2007 12:43PM @23, there's a new PTR patch today but indeed it's still 4 yds (tested doing the daily cooking quest).
Oct 25th 2007 12:22PM So the changes for the adamantite ammo machines.
Adamantite shell machines are now showing up (did not see them last PTR). There's a comment on the shell machine about explosive contents and it's 1 bar, 2 powder and 4 wood for a 5 charge machine. 10 tries, no backfire.
The arrow maker no longer has a warning on it (last round it said may explode or something like that, but 15 tries, no backfire). It's 1 bar, 4 wood 2 bolts and a 5 charge machine.
Sadly, I think there's no way it'll stay like this, that's just way way way cheap of mats for such sweet items.
