Jul 9th 2008 3:34PM You're forgetting one key thing - it will allow people to combine devices and not have to carry around pocketfulls of gadgets.
I have my personal cell phone, a phone for work email, and an ipod. I will be able to combine them all into 1 device.
Jul 7th 2008 7:14PM I ordered mine the moment after I noticed the WoW Insider article announcing they were on sale. My order shows up a little differently, with an original charge of 9.19. A few days later, the order split into two rows, one of which says REFUNDED without an amount, and one that says SHIPPED with the price of 6.89.
Apparently there was some issue with their online store charging shipping costs that were not needed or something along that lines as well.
I'm just hoping I actually get one.... Tries to contact customer support have failed.
Jul 3rd 2008 6:38PM Go to the blizzard beta opt in page, it's mentioned there.
Jul 3rd 2008 7:53AM I managed to get one before they sold out... but still no word on my order either.
Jun 30th 2008 8:27AM I use a spreadsheet to keep track of mats I have on my various characters. It's on Google Docs, so I can access it anywhere. But each of my characters also has a small notebook that keeps track of gearing options, factions I need to grind, as well as a timeline for important dates - level 40, level 60, etc etc.
Jun 24th 2008 9:16AM Taking a page straight out of Blizzard's book... We will know when it's ready.
Jun 23rd 2008 9:46AM It's either a release date for Wrath, or the beta. But why would they go to all the trouble to announce the beta? Or. Maybe it's both. Who knows.
Jun 20th 2008 2:55PM Quick question... have you read ANY of the information that has resulted from these broken NDAs? Since the client was still in ALPHA, a majority of it will change, if not ALL of it.
Yes, while it is bad to break an NDA, would you honestly expect everyone to actually do so when there are 10+ million people begging for any information they can get?
The same thing happened Pre-BC. There will be other sites that pop up. Once a company releases a product to the public, it's there for good.
Jun 19th 2008 6:22AM This is what I'm thinking ...
30 levels to Ground Mount
30 levels to Epic Ground (and Outlands)
10 levels to Flying/Epic Flying
What if Blizz did the change to gear us more towards the next 2 expansions (or 1), as they want us to get to level 100, trying to even out the mounts through the levels. Or maybe they did it just so we would use our ground mounts a little more. It seems like I bought my epic ground mount mere days after getting the regular.
I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't introduce a new type of mount at 80, 90 and 100. They did say there was going to be a new gold sink... but not as bad as epic flying.
Maybe at 80 we can purchase the ability to use the siege weapons we keep hearing about?
