Nov 28th 2008 8:15AM The runed giants in Grizzly Hills have to be the most annoying mobs. There is a stream of them on the east side of the zone and they TELEPORT. I can't even begin to count how many times I was killing a wolf or shoveltusk in the area, only to see a flash of light and BAM a giant wanting to kill me.
Luckily, later on I got a quest to shrink them and kill them. I cleaned out the area in hopes of making life a bit easier for those behind me.
Oct 18th 2008 11:39AM Also....each trick or treat quest that nets you a handful of of treats also got me about 5500 xp....I leveled almost completely through 65 just buy doing those.
Aug 10th 2008 1:52PM I got roughly 2000g from 70 to 77 by just doing quests and selling off greens I didn't need.
Aug 6th 2008 10:30AM 1. Beserk is pretty lackluster so far (I just reached 77 on my feral in beta). I think I may have used it a handful of times in the entire time I leveled. I think the combination of the long cooldown and the pretty situational additional effect (breaks you from fear, etc) make it pretty weak.
I would expect it to be changed whenever druids get their lookover.
2. The positioning from feral cat charge is broken right now.
3. I haven't played a moonkin yet, but from what I have heard in-game and on the forums is that Typhoon is wickedly overpowered and will probably be tuned down and that Starfall is not working well due to how it is designed.
Aug 6th 2008 10:25AM Feral charge (Cat) is pretty nice to close the distance to a mob that is running away or to speed up mob-to-mob leveling.
Right now, it is broken as it does not stun the mob or position you directly behind the mob as the tooltip states.
But it is still fun to go flying across the air.
Aug 6th 2008 10:23AM So far all of the staves with Feral AP look the same. They look like a staff with a spiked club head on the end. I would assume they are going to do a revamp of the item models right before release.
Mar 5th 2008 11:16AM Actually, 1700 California time would be 8 p.m. EST.
California is 3 hours behind the Eastern Time Zone, so yeah.
Feb 10th 2008 9:53AM What I see is a company realizing that creating an island on Second Life doesn't automagically create additional revenue streams.
I think the biggest amount of people in Second Life are people trying to sell things. And tons of sellers without tons of buyers doesn't usually net any profit.
I've tried Second Life. I tried it three times hoping I could "get" what everyone was so hyped up about. Then I realized that is all it's about....hype.
Remove the hype and SL is nothing more than a 3D chatroom where you can waste your money.
Nov 12th 2007 5:27PM I suggest you pick me so that I can continue my reptilian ways.
Plus, having a skeletal mounted pet makes me drool.
Nov 5th 2007 1:54PM I thought launch day went well. I haven't experienced any queues yet, but I am playing on the US servers.
I really like the way a person can solo as much as they want without really hindering their progress.
The only complaint I have so far is the lack of UI customization. At least let me get rid of the chat spam window or make it smaller.
