Major Alterac Valley changes coming to Patch 2.3 {WoW}

Oct 5th 2007 9:37AM It will still be a race to the end, like it always has been. Blizzard doesn't realize that the players define the content, and not the other way around. We want 13 minute AV, and there isn't too much they could do to prevent that, short of engineering it so that you have to stop at each WM and make each WM harder.

Your guild SUCKS. Seriously. Get a new guild, some of the stuff you said there is just RETARDED. We would always give people backup gear if they wanted it before we would shard it. What a bunch of jerks. I'm sure it's just so your GM/Raid Leader can sell the shards too! Get a new guild for real!

Sep 21st 2007 5:15PM I have wanted Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle or w/e from Opera in Kara since I started kara. We have not ONCE gotten BB Wolf. We almost did once. When we were newer to it we would send someone inside to die and see what the event was. We did that once and got BBW and he chased someone out of the room. When we went back to do it for real it was the BBW stage set, w/ the trees and all, but it was R&J :( * *

Encrypted Text: Most valuable procs {WoW}

Sep 21st 2007 11:13AM I'm totally not trolling, just giving my opinion here, but, this has got to be one of the dumbest articles to date. If you rely on something proccing once or twice a minute vs the steady DPS from pure agi/AP you need to go back to playing Sims 2.

Polling players on new content {WoW}

Sep 20th 2007 2:18PM Blizzard takes the stance that they are working for "casual gamers". The problem with polls is that those casual players will have a casual attitude about those polls as well. The hardcore will fill it out ASAP to have a chance to make things even more as they want it to be.

I love the way they are moving right now on 10 man content. 25 mans are still required for the real End endgame, but at least people can gear out pretty respectable with 10 man content (not just kara, but ZA coming soon, etc.). And moving from 40 man raids to 25 is a boon for the more casual player, although still kind of a hassle. But at least if you can get two kara groups going your guild should be able to get 25 peeps to move forward in content.

I personally think the very best endgame gear should be attainable in 10 mans, but for most that might be a little too casual.

Sep 19th 2007 4:00PM I agree with lots of this. However, I think all Blizz heard on the forums was "Huntard" this and "Huntard" that. They decided to not make them so required. However I find there is one place where we come in handy, and that is Kara. Either you bring too many offtanks and have almost no DPS, or you bring Priests and Hunters to CC. I CC in there 3 nights a week and can chain trap, well, I don't know how long I've never had it break once going Survival. I trapped one mob 15x and took no damage just to play around. We still have uses, but I can see what you mean about people seeking us out specifically.

How much do you love your pirate faction? {WoW}

Sep 19th 2007 3:31PM Wow, that guy likes to completely waste his time. If Blizz wanted to use his ideas they would have to pay him for them, and as such they would not do it. If they used them he could always come back and call it his I.P.

A sneak peek at AuctioneerAdvanced {WoW}

Sep 18th 2007 10:38AM I think #16 has it right. I came here to say that, but I wanted to see if someone said it first. The ONLY reason I can think of to "demo" a software before release this way is because it's going to be sold later. Which is smart on their part, they have many people hooked and those people will purchase it for sure, but still lame I guess.

Time to make tons of money now before the new version is at a price, and before blizz updates something that ends up breaking the old versions.
