Jan 28th 2008 6:00PM Well, just last Monday my 5v5 group did about a dozen arenas and one of the guys said we need to have another "Day Of Manners" soon.
(A "Day Of Manners" was our old school way to PvP, it started from joking around on vent that "X" alliance player didn't run away from the sight of us and just continued to quest like we didn't exist. So, he needed to be taught manners. etc...)
He wanted to hit up old haunts with there being only a few of us (starting a Booty Bay and rinding north to UC was popular way to cleanse the Eastern Kingdom of "filth".)
I reminded him that Azeroth was kinda dead, so I suggested we take over Honor Hold for a bit. We had 5-7 to start with and our party grew to a nice little raid. We took out every alliance to come or try to go. And eliminated all NPCs in the courtyard multiple times, even the minor boss guy. Finally we got the attention of the Alliance and 70s started to pour in. We had a blast. But still was not as fun as the old days.
Oct 23rd 2007 1:50PM Drums can now be used in forms!
that was the single reason i dropped LW. No biggie, JC is more fun and profitable anyway.
Sep 7th 2007 1:40PM what about the idea of adding not a third profession, but a hobby class. not as many patterns, so not a huge a commitment as a new profession. more "toys" could be added this way. or you can pick up any other profession as a hobby and have access to a small percentage of the skills - maybe they are less powerful versions, etc.
or it could all just add up to more stuffed bags...
