Jun 16th 2008 11:26AM Err *Japanese, didn't notice the Hiragana.
Jun 16th 2008 11:22AM That Chinese image you're using - is that a Rickroll in Engrish?

Feb 23rd 2008 1:32PM It's ok Matthew, your warrior columns more than make up for momentary lapses of attention :)
Feb 23rd 2008 12:04PM Umm, didn't you post this same thing yesterday? Different link but the page content is the same.
Feb 10th 2008 6:52PM Strictly speaking, it's not only bosses, its mobs that have 15 or more weapon skill above your base defence rating. You could get a level 40 toon, fight a level 45 mob and get crushed (I guess to make mobs bigger than you be harder to kill?). But, at 70, the only mobs that much bigger than you are bosses. I think it's as much a levelling mechanic as it is end-game, but at 70 you only really notice it in one place.
Feb 10th 2008 6:48PM Agree, is the poster on crack? Why let someone who has no clue about tanking stats post about them?
New value: Higher defense improves your chance to dodge, parry, and block attacks, makes you harder to hit, and makes monsters less likely to land a critical strike against you.
That is EXACTLY what defence does now. It has never had anything to do with crushing blows, and tanks stack defence to become CRIT immune, not crush. Does this blog even have an editor?
Jan 16th 2008 5:06AM I did a heroic SP the other day, and several times, on different mobs, the mob would fear the group and then chase me (a rogue) instead of the tank. Because I was being feared, I had no choice but to take 4k melee attacks, and of course I didn't last very long. I don't know if it was a bug or by design, but the mobs always followed me instead of the tank regardless of my threat.
Jan 16th 2008 5:03AM Not only that, but you take cleaves in the face...
Always stay behind, when possible. No block, no parry.
Nov 30th 2007 11:36AM For me, this one doesn't work at all (doesn't detect my WoW installation, bah). I just fire up Windows XP under Parallels and use the Windows version...
