Feb 11th 2009 5:22PM I'm a bit torn like this.
The definition of a bad player to me is someone that doesn't TRY to pull their weight. Believe me I know a fair few bad , but a lot of these guys know they're not that good, put in a bit of effort at least. Personally I play my class decently (Mage: 2000+ dps without ever seeing raid loot), and for that reason I don't mind having a good person but a bad player tag along.
I've had a few guildies who were terrible, but one actually /w me asking the mechanics of certain boss fights, why we did things the way I recommended etc. For that reason alone I passed loot for them.
Minor upgrade for me might = big deal for another player, not just in game terms, but in overall pleasantries. It's just pixels to me, I don't run dungeons / raids for loot, but just for relaxation. If something like TTT dropped off KT, I'd honestly rather pass it onto someone who would see quite a decent default improvement and really make their day. If we were gearing up for Ulduar and it dropped, different story though.
That said to do I would boot / drop idiots in a heartbeat - you the ones who blame the healers, the tank, the dps, smash out continuous raid warnings and cry like a 10 year old when they're not group leader, before they even get to see loot.
Feb 9th 2009 5:03PM Heh I freaked at that too.
I like the changes to AP personally, it gives me a bit more micro to my mana management.
Does the "nerf" to AB glyph means it actually works now? :P.
Nice to have more PoM sheeping too ehehe.
