Apr 26th 2010 6:05PM Now, I have had this idea for awhile and a similar idea might already be posted in the 350+ previous comments. I also don't know where else to submit it. So .. here we go.
When you have gated raid content, have the gates be conditional. What I would have liked to have seen something where to access parts 2,3,4 have to do part 1, but you do not have to do the subsequent parts with the same group you did the first part. This does not seem it would be hard to calculate.
Take ICC for example. Before you can do the halls 2-4 in a raid lock out you must complete hall 1, and to beat the lich king in a lockout you need to do all 1-4.
Now this would benefit casuals without much harm to power guilds.
One problem I see with this is that you could not freely swap characters to custom the encounters.
