Feb 17th 2009 1:03PM My guild already has a system in place, as several people already perform multiple roles depending on the instance, or are expected to be able to respec in case we are short a healer/tank. We use a DKP system with minimums. Off-spec minimum bid for an item is generally 1/2 the normal (main spec) min, and off-spec max bid is normal min - 1. It works fine so far.
Nov 24th 2008 10:38AM I haven't noticed that there's a severe lack of mail caster items. There are actually more mail caster quest rewards now than there were in BC - a quick search on Wowhead shows 80 in Wotlk vs 43 in BC (and in BC it was originally an even smaller number for ele shamans when +sp/+heal wasn't consolidated).
Keep in mind you can and should take leather and cloth caster rewards. Also note there are some nice crafted items that may be good upgrades too. For example, there is a crafted caster shield, Saronite Protector.
Nov 13th 2008 9:33AM Woohoo!
Nov 3rd 2008 6:09PM Yes, there are people out there who like and want to join PVP guilds. I am not in one, but I do appreciate the PVP guilds who organize trade chat premades so that Horde could actually win AV (at least pre 3.0... post patch we seem to be winning again sometimes).
I suggest asking around or searching the Internet to find other PVP guilds and get some ideas on how they do things.
Oct 8th 2008 6:12PM @vlad: That's exactly it, in computer science terms, the 'trees' ARE upside down.
Oct 6th 2008 10:47AM I got a fun trinket for my main (Brightbrew charm) and a nice upgrade for my alt.
Didn't do the boss as many times as I would have liked (lack of time) but had fun nonetheless.
Sep 3rd 2008 10:48AM If you know how to work the AH or perhaps leveled JC when BC released, it's perfectly conceivable to have amassed that much gold in a year and a half without spending ridiculous amounts of time. And if you don't constantly spend your money and time in support of raiding, even better.
Jul 2nd 2008 1:09PM Agreed.
Resilience values on gear have not significantly changed from season to season. And 20 extra spell damage or 200 extra health here and there will not make or break a game if your team cannot coordinate or understand how to counter the other team.
Jun 17th 2008 9:36AM I did the exact same thing!
After a few minutes of feeling frustrated trying to figure out how I could possibly swim back, it finally hit me- I can use my hearthstone! Hurray!
