The Darkmoon Faire begins! {WoW}

Dec 4th 2011 4:12PM At the very end of the dock in the faire there's portals to Elwynn and Mulgore.

Ask the Devs Round 8 answers your Firelands questions {WoW}

May 25th 2011 2:56PM It sounds like they're spreading out the elemental lords throughout the expansion in some ways.

We got Therazane as part of the Deepholm questline. Because she's technically "neutral" in the sense that she just wants Deepholm to be at peace, I'd fill her in to the "Quest" lord.

Tier 11, we got Al'Akir. Certainly, he wasn't a large part of the entire tier, as Cho'gall was a leader of the cult and Nefarian is Deathwing's son. But because he's in there, I'd call him the Tier 11 lord.

Tier 12, we got Ragnaros. I mean, there's not much else to go in from there. He's Ragnaros.

So this either means that Neptulon is going to be involved with the Tier 13 raid tier (maybe they'll actually go back to more than one raid per tier and we have the Caverns of Time raid plus a water raid), or he'll be rumor fodder until our supposed Azshara expansion.

If this is true, then we would have "dealt" with all the elemental lords throughout the expansion with a final attack on Deathwing and whatever his "master" is to cap the expansion.

I dunno, if this is the case, I'm not entirely negative about it. I would have loved to see a dungeon come out with the raid, though, which I thought was what the Abyssal Maw was, but I just really hope that Firelands remains as good as they seem to make it out to be.

Patch 4.1: Combat log addons cause framerate issues {WoW}

Apr 26th 2011 5:51PM Under the Curse article for MSBT, there's a simple LUA code change that worked wonders for me. Haven't had an issue.

Mobile guild chat updated for Android app {WoW}

Apr 26th 2011 3:47PM @Samutz

So from what I can tell: iPhone is the appetizer?

So this means Android is the dessert?
And they're all things I love to eat?
I think I like this analogy.

Mobile guild chat updated for Android app {WoW}

Apr 26th 2011 3:38PM I don't much care for the taste of apples.

I much rather enjoy the sweet taste of...

.......

What kind of fruit would an Android OS be? An orange? I like oranges.

The Daily Quest: Raiding, real life, and remembering {WoW}

Apr 25th 2011 8:05PM I could see them combining the entirety of the monastery as a heroic with a brand new underground wing and new encounters. Maybe the story is some Forsaken is getting too overzealous with their victory in the monastery while a crazed Scarlet Crusader tries to form a new order.

Honestly, they could do a lot for Tirisfal Glades what with that speculation on old god stuff underneath the land.

It could be neat to see them make a brand new monastery design for that area, too. I seem to recall that dungeon in particular needing some much-needed model love.

Patch 4.1: Rise of the Zandalari trailer now available {WoW}

Apr 25th 2011 3:54PM "So we have a group that is going for what he is physically versus what he believes. He probably wants the Trolls to remain a proud race, but he also doesn't believe that the Zandalari want this.*

Sorry, second paragraph cut off.

Patch 4.1: Rise of the Zandalari trailer now available {WoW}

Apr 25th 2011 3:52PM Technically, it's not a whole civilization going crazy. The Zandalari want to bring the troll civilization back to their former glory. It is essentially a faction wanting to gain back what was once theirs, and because the Trolls have existed for a long, long time, that means that a majority of Azeroth will be a prime target.

Vol'jin doesn't want to get involved because going with the Zandalari is essentially going against the Horde. The Gurubashi basically exiled the Darkspear tribe from Stranglethorn and their tribe would have been destroyed altogether if it weren't for Thrall and the Horde. So we have a group that is going for what he

"Crazy" is Illidan's group. "Crazy" is Arthas' desire to bring death to the world. "Crazy" is Deathwing basically shattering the world. But what the Zandalari are doing doesn't seem crazy to me. It just seems like a proper war strategy, more akin to the war between the Alliance and Horde.

Patch 4.1: New heirlooms hint at tier 1 raiding sets {WoW}

Mar 30th 2011 8:13PM @Quisling:

Fine, let me clarify. If something big happens at Blackrock Mountain /again/.

BWD 2.0! Now a 5-man Heroic!

Patch 4.1: New heirlooms hint at tier 1 raiding sets {WoW}

Mar 30th 2011 4:47PM Well, considering the big bad for the next tier of raiding is Ragnaros and considering that Firelands is supposedly going to have Molten Core references galore, it seems only right that they would reference Tier 1.

Maybe if need be, they could reference Tier 2 if something big happens at Blackrock Mountain.

Also, I bet the heirlooms are tied to the new daily quests in Hyjal and Firelands.
