Dec 23rd 2007 2:41PM I've always been a fantasy fan, before I ever even knew about thing like Lord of the Rings and WoW. So for me, it's just all the things I like finally becoming popular.
What I think it is that appeals to people (other than being able to play with your friends) is that you can be a 'hero' or a 'villain' and be able to develop a character. Or maybe I'm wrong and it's just me.
Nov 28th 2007 8:33PM I collect pets. Hunter pets. That's what I need 7 hunters for. *grin*
Nov 28th 2007 8:10PM It's sort of funny because I love the original Neverwinter Nights (I still believe that it's the best RPG out there) and I was so pumped to get NWN2 but I couldn't because my laptop sucks. Then a friend got me into WoW and I've been playing religiously ever since. Still, I wanted NWN2 badly so when my brother moved in with me and brought his computer, I ran out to get it. And I've played it maybe 2 hours. With 7 hunters to level, I have no time or inclination to play any other game. After all, NWN2 can wait. WoW can't.
Nov 14th 2007 7:42PM Nicora - WoW's random name generator
Machalor - Combination of "Macha" and "Balor", both characters from Celtic mythology
Jorthwyn - Taken from Jord, a Norse goddess of earth
Aithne - Gaelic
Fhionn - Gaelic
Brighit - Taken from Brigid, a Celtic goddess of fire
Khaja - A tribute to the WoW movie "Redshift" (the name of the female troll character)
Faeldray - my own personal nickname
Tiama - Gaelic for "lady"
Nov 12th 2007 5:12PM 1. Hunter dead zone being reduced

4. New content in Dustwallow
Oct 17th 2007 9:03AM I resent that remark about Taurens riding rams. My tauren hunter worked very hard to get that ram and she looks beautiful and graceful on it.
Just kidding. I know you were joking around :)
Oct 10th 2007 6:29PM Oh, have I had glitches.
And I don't know how no one (except #9) seems to notice the grells/imps blinking and twitching their hands after they're dead. I avoid killing them just because it's creepy.
Sep 16th 2007 7:25PM Like some of the others, I was drawn to the Horde because they're generally more interesting. I mean, everyone who's every read a fantasy book knows about humans and their versatility, dwarves and their steadfastness, elves and their better-than-thou demeanor...but taurens? These huge bovine creatures that are peaceful and shamanistic? That's just too cool to pass up. Alright I have to admit the Draenei are pretty neat too, and elves and orcs can be alright.
Sep 14th 2007 10:41PM I've never played on a PvP realm but I do know that I do not like PvP unless it's equal sided. I've done the whole "raid" thing where us Horde tried to dance on the walls of Stormwind, only to have half the group die several times (including myself) and then everyone splitting up in frustration.
I prefer to solo my way through the lvls, although I don't mind helping someone else out (no matter the faction) or asking for help when I need it.
I'd have to say that RP servers seem to have the most mature and friendly players on them. So just about any new toon I roll is on an RP server.
