Nov 6th 2008 10:19PM I'll take a bear for my bear!
Oct 9th 2008 9:38PM I'm almost positive that the game won't starting counting things like "number of fish caught" until the achievement system is in game. I could be wrong though.
May 10th 2008 4:39PM I hope the Scarlet Onslaught keeps the old Scarlet Crusade Tabard, it's still my favorite Tabard design in the game. And it just wouldn't feel the same killing them with out the old red and white on their chests. Keep up the good work with the Wotlk info, the more I hear about it the more I can't wait to start leveling again.
Nov 16th 2007 1:35PM If Warcocks aren't overpowered then why can they do more mana efficient and just plain better aoe dmg than mages? Yeah mages get arcane explosion but you ever see how much mana that uses up? Compare that with skill seed then talk too me.
Oh yeah and lol iceblock, oh boy it removes dots but that's it. Trust me we aren't laughing at people from inside that iceblock we are wishing that we had SOME way of getting out of there once it is over. Nothing like being surrounded by 5 enemy players and just sitting in a block for 10 sec waiting for the hurt to come. I would much rather fear all of them away for the same 10 sec and run too reinforcements. And I suppose giving them all instant cast dots in the process would be fair too... Blizzard needs to destroy your class. I remember back in the good old days before the patch that buffed warlocks (lol deathcoil) you were useless caster hunter clones and I think you should have a taste of that again.
/spit on warlocks
Oct 23rd 2007 4:38PM I love that they are still working on Arcane Missiles. I mean how many times am I going to see that it's fixed in the patch notes? Is it just a running joke now?
Oct 21st 2007 11:44PM @Bigbear and the others complaining about progression of the bloggers. STFU! I'm getting really sick of all you naysayers coming on here and talking down to the authors about their progress in game. I don't think that progress is the greatest comparison of a player's skill. Remember there are 24 other members of your raid also doing the work, there are some weak members of every team that just get dragged along for the gear. And if you don't think so YOU just might be the weak member of your raid. So don't think just because someone is further advanced in endgame raiding than you means they play their class better or can even teach you more about the game. Yeah they have seen MORE of it, but so what? Just because I've spent more time driving my car than you doesn't mean that you can't drive yours better than me. Maybe you can corner like a demon when I spin out.
The fact is while some of us are lucky enough to fit full time raiding into our schedule and have been able to put the work and effort into clearing SSC, and TK compared to the wow player base as a whole there are only a handful (a tiny tiny handful) of players out there raiding Hyjal and BT. These blogs are not for those raiders, period. THOSE raiders are over on the EJ forums and if your so barny badass then head over there and try and knock heads with them. Most of the players reading this site are themselves working through Karazhan and are probably trying to make the leap to SSC or TK.
What I'm saying is quit coming down on these authors for not being something that they never claimed to be. They are giving honest truthful informative posts to us the unwashed raiders. If you have to get your information from only the most advanced of raiders then go to their website this isn't the place for you and your comments are unnecessary.
But don't listen to me I'm only clearing SSC and working on Astromancer in TK, I'm not progressed enough to know what I'm talking about. Maybe if I killed Kael'thas I would learn some greater wisdom.
Oct 21st 2007 10:55PM I also am fondly remembering the many changes that have come to Wow. Heck warlocks used to basically be a different class than they are now. I remember the patch that gave them deathcoil and turned them into a damage over time class. Before that they were basically weak mages with pets. But as others above me have stated, great article I would love to read more of this kind of stuff. Give us MORE!
Sep 20th 2007 7:49PM Don't pay attention to all the negative Nancys posting here. Raiding can be a very rewarding experience with the right group of people. I've been raiding with the same group for a year and a half, our progress in BC hasn't been the best but I'm still having fun. It's all about the in-jokes and camaraderie that's what keeps me raiding. As long as you enjoy the journey and don't fixate too much on the losses you can find alot of fun in raiding.
