Oct 21st 2011 7:37PM There is still another 2 days of panels to go. We might see something then. After that, there's still alpha and beta. We could hear something then.
Oct 21st 2011 4:14PM Which makes full heirlooms interesting.
It'll be interesting to see Pandaran in the different heirlooms. Monks use cloth, so we'll see some Dreadmist.
Oct 21st 2011 3:41PM That does look interesting. It's not expected to see it's a dps/heal/tank class. Keeps the tank/healer number equal.
Since it uses cloth and leather, I'm guessing you'll want to get the stam/intellect cloth and leather heirlooms. Possibly, agility leather.
Oct 21st 2011 2:58PM WoW subscription $14.99 * 12 = $179.88
Diablo 3 non-collector $49.99
Warcaft expansion beta - no cost/priceless
So, I pay about $180 that I was going to pay before in the same billing cycle I was before and I get an additional two items valued at $74.99
Oct 21st 2011 2:48PM Yeah, just sign up for the Annual plan and choose Monthly installments. Effectively, this changes nothing.
Also, any time you have already paid for gets applied to your Annual plan.
I have an active subscription already; what happens to the time I already paid for?
Any qualifying subscription time remaining on the account at the time of accepting the Annual Pass offer may be applied toward the 12-month subscription commitment.
For example: If you had started a 6-month subscription 2 months prior to accepting the Annual Pass offer, 4 months of your remaining subscription time would be applied toward your 12-month subscription commitment.
Oct 11th 2011 12:31PM I've noticed that myself. Everyone seems to have been a person of great importance. And, not just important, but historically famous. No one is just a farmer or a soldier who's name is not recorded in history.
RP wise, it makes sense. The story is seldom about the farmer who kept on working the fields. It's about the farmer who kisses their family goodbye and fights the evil wizard.
I did have one friend though. His characters goal was to amass about 1,000 gold. Enough to live comfortably until he died. He reached his goal, retired the character and rolled up a new one.
Oct 9th 2011 12:46PM I completely thought the wrong thing on revenge and transmogrification.
I thought this was going to be about ganking revenge. Some 70 or 80 ganks your lowbie alt, you log into your t12 85 that looks like they are wearing Scarlet Monastery level gear. The ganker doesn't pay attention to your level, so attacks and learns a lesson.
Oct 7th 2011 5:38PM Nice. You're more concerned about my use of "loot pirate" and support of the Need vs Greed system than the fact tanks/healers roll need on second role just as much as dps does.
As to the term "loot pirate", hit up the forums. Since ninja'ing denotes taking something that you had no part of, which is not possible within Blizz's system. As such, some are trying to use a different term and came up with "loot pirate".
@Jyotai - I don't really expect gear from dungeons. It's nice to win and annoying to lose, but I don't let it bother me. As long as we're clearing bosses, I can fill almost every slot with jp/vp gear. Winning a drop means I don't have to fill that slot immediately. If a specific piece was that important, I'd run with my guild or build a trade pug to farm it.
But, whatever. This post will probably be down voted too. Not because it's offensive, but because you don't agree with my opinion. It's interesting to note only Windshear, mine and jfolfa's posts were ranked. Infer what you will, I take it as a positive.
Oct 7th 2011 2:53PM The preferred term is "loot pirate". And, it's not like tanks and healers haven't rolled on dps gear. I wouldn't be surprised if more tanks and healers rolled on dps gear prior to dual spec than the other way around.
You might want to actually read some of those ninja threads in their entirety.
That being said, I don't mind it being in the LFR, but would rather it not be in LFD. LFR, you can't really try for it again until next week. LFD, you can try for it again in 5 minutes. And, yes, I've lost loot rolls against another role. It's annoying, but I move on.

The most that a character can EQUIP is 8. You need to multiply that by the number of gear types. It's closer to 26 is the max that would appear in your box. Six slots times 4 armor types plus the two trinkets. Then add on any pets/mounts from Blizz store and collector editions.
