Must I lose my felguard? {WoW}

Sep 21st 2007 12:42PM I was planning on doing the whole get to 70 with felguard, and switch to affliction for the DPS. Only thing is. When I hit 70, started doing instance (with felguard still), and going at it with other warlocks, and blowing them away..... I decided there is no way in the world.) People keep telling me how aff is better. Your pet is going to always die. blah blah blah. Yeah I'm sure he'll die. If you send him straight at a guy with no support and you pay no attention to it. If you know your tactics and watch that cleaving around CC, you'll be fine imo. I have not done karazhan with felguard in a group. But I have gone in alone and tested him out. He gets raped pretty quickly, but no faster than a pyro happy mage. I say do what you want to do. You put in the time and effort, and unless you are subpar with your felguard play with him. He's an awesome tool. and when used right he is basically a living DoT with more umph and utility than the others. Good luck in whatever you may choose to do though
