Sep 10th 2007 1:05PM My guild does the swap. Once you have most of everything you need you get invited only for the bosses you want/need a drop off of. JUst park your toon outside, log onto vent, and play an alt until your called up. Works wonders imo.
@7 and anyone else that continues with the why raid when a expansion is coming out? Why do anything then? I do it for the content and friends. Loot is great and all, but I am playing a game. And there is more to it than just loot. Hell I even have 375 fishing!
Aug 29th 2007 2:56PM I'll most likely wait until the onslaught of Gnome Deathknights ends before I start one of my own.
Aug 27th 2007 5:07PM I find myself doing this with hybrid classes. I have alts of each of them and find myself respeccing depending on how I want to play that week. With the more pure classes there are differences but they are not as extreme.
Aug 27th 2007 4:58PM Also lets not forget all those random things from the TCG. Sure somewhat hard to get, but adds some more fun toys to the game.
Although you could buy them if you really wanted.
Aug 27th 2007 4:56PM Elizabeth you laugh, but see, cheesy headliners can have a lot going for them. lol
Aug 27th 2007 4:45PM Need an edit post feature. lol
previous should say "now conceived"
Aug 27th 2007 4:42PM Interesting.
The Sunwell story looks like it can be either cool or lame.
Dalaran not having an AH will have a bunch of QQ posts, but I agree that is shouldn't. Portals of course are just so it's easy to get to and fro.
The amount of Death Knight QQ will go up as current classes become useless. This is my main issue with "Hero Classes" as they are not conceived. What class will they ultimately replace and how is Blizzard going to counter that.
I knew Inscription would need a sellable item. Scrolls were the perfect fit. Core spells of course could basically mean anything that doesn't require a talent or heavy investment of talents to make use of. Then again "Core Spell" can mean anything right now.
Aug 17th 2007 4:31PM Considering the theme, a penguin would be a nice fit. Or some sort of mini skeletal thing.
Aug 11th 2007 12:02AM I'd be happy with either SC2 or WoW. Although I think it would be very cool if they let you choose which one.
I may have a problem at that point.
Aug 10th 2007 11:56AM @3 One "Blizz-type" ( I have no idea what these guys do but they all where wearing the fancy blizz shirts)hinted at enchanter only belt enchants.
@7 I asked about this and didn't get any real answer.
It just seems like they completely dumped the idea. I wonder if it is because they do indeed plan on coming up with other professions that would do this. Seems like a waste.(Same issue with staves and bows, etc.)
