Drama Mamas: It's not you - it's them {WoW}

Aug 7th 2009 1:29PM If you are a fresh 80 make sure to run the dungeons in normal mode a few times before trying them in heroic mode. Knowing the fights helps alot. Normal mode party members are far less critical about your gear. The attitude you noticed is due to some fresh 80s trying to do heroics before they are ready. Geared players prefer not to carry someone thru a heroic with just quest greens and blues. With triumph badges now awarded for the heroic daily dungeon you will see more of the hard core raiders with bad attitudes expecting quick heroics. This is because the T9 set pieces require not only a trophy token but also 45-75 triumph badges.

Apr 7th 2009 12:44PM http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Large_hadron_collider

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the world's largest and highest-energy particle accelerator, intended to collide opposing particle beams, of either protons at an energy of 7 TeV/particle, or lead nuclei at an energy of 574 TeV/nucleus.
It can also be used to open a black hole to summon the moonkin horde which will likely destroy the earth.

The Queue: The Scantily Clad Edition {WoW}

Mar 26th 2009 3:29PM "You would need an EU copy of WoW and its expansions to play there".

This is flase.

You can run EU and US versions from the same install. All you need to do is change 1 line in one configuration file and 2 lines in another. Overall you have to change 6 characters to switch between the two.

In your main WoW folder there is a file called realmlist.wtf open it up and there are two lines in it. set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
and then another that looks similar. Change the us.logon to eu.logon for both lines. keep the rest of the stuff.

next there is a file in your wow/wtf directory called config.wtf. In that file is 1 line that says the same thing set realmlist blah blah. Change it the same way to say eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

Having done both of these things you'll be able to login to EU realms. You'll know if it was successful because your US account user name and password won't work anymore. Playing on both EU and US requires two subscriptions. Creating a new account on either side requires getting a CD key from a box copy of the game.
