Oct 18th 2010 8:11PM Does anyone know what level you have to be to get the horseman to show up in the dungeon finder tool? I found old comments on wowhead that said you had to be 75 to summon him, but i have a 76 alt that I wanted to get the achievement on and don't know if I will get him to 80 before the event is over.
Oct 8th 2010 6:30PM This would have been amazing in vanilla when some classes would literally cast one spell over and over, i.e. mages with frostbolt and fights didn't require much movement. If the spell could have queued while the GCD was up, it would have ensured you'd cast the maximum amount of frostbolts per minute even with latency.
This has a lot of potential even with more complex rotations and movement oriented fights to be pretty interesting. Will have to see how it plays out when it goes live though.
Sep 10th 2010 1:53PM If you played a mage in Vanilla you knew about the Postmaster. Like the article says he used to drop a Magister's piece. Other than that there was no real reason to kill him. I'm not surprised people have no idea that he exists.
Sep 7th 2010 3:21PM I've become a big fan of endomondo lately. It has a much simpler interface than runkeeper or mapmyride, but it has everything I need, and the web interface to check things out later its really good. Sometimes simplicity wins
though I ahve to say it's not the be all end all. I think there is still room out there for someone to build a better web/app combo for run/ride tracking
Aug 7th 2010 5:00PM Something to consider on your math, you might have more lava lash hits in the same period of time if it becomes higher on the priority list thanks to the buff from searing totem.
Also, it looks like your total attacks work out to be about the same, but with Mastery, it might be doing a larger percentage of your damage. It will be hard to make a call on if this is worth the talent points until you can produce a similar log in beta. Will be interesting to see how it works out. I have a feeling we'll be taking the talent points.
Jul 27th 2010 4:07PM Can't they both be FS? Wouldn't it be obvious which move FS refers to by which spec we are talking about? FS for unholy isn;t going to be Frost Strike and vice versa
Jul 25th 2010 7:47PM It wasn't the main spec, it wad the only spec. Shaman didn't get dual wield until TBC and even had to spend a talent point to use 2 handers.
We had a shaman with hand of rag on our server
Jun 3rd 2010 8:00PM I think the timeline comparison between Naxx and Ulduar isn't valid for one main reason. You aren't considering how long it took raids to actually progress thru these dungeons. At least on my server, everyone was clearing Naxx almost immediately. It was a weekly loot fest, pugs were even clearing it. Then Ulduar came out and it took players much longer to actually get passed bosses and progress.
If you look from start date to start date, the difference might only be one month, but if you measured from the time that most raids were clearing the whole dungeon, i think the time would be much greater.
Apr 15th 2010 2:16PM " The only problem that remains is haste, which doesn't necessarily give our holy damage the same sort of boost it gives our physical damage. "
It actually might if mana becomes an issue, and haste is how we get our mana back.
Apr 9th 2010 2:15PM I am glad they are keeping consideration for 2 handed frost. Personally I prefer a hard hitting frost strike as a runic power dump then a wimpy flying death coil at range. Just sayin
