Aug 12th 2008 1:42PM Didn't expect Bel to make this, of all people. :o
Anyhow, pretty fun game.
Aug 7th 2008 2:47PM I'm Alliance on Moon Guard and think you're an ass, idk.
Want PvP? There are places set up so you can do so.
Aug 6th 2008 9:42PM "Remember, sixty-nine levels of the game are solo-able, but only one requires a group; group content is the only time a Retadin will not be able to make use of parry-hastened counter-attacks."
And those sixty-nine levels can be blown through easily. 70 is where specs truly matter, 70 is where you should apply knowledge of the game and design a spec.
As long as there -are- talents, people will figure out cookie cutter specs-Which is, in my opinion, just fine. There should be a right and wrong way to spec, to gear, to enchant, to gem-Anything else makes things too situational and gives too many potential specs of one class for the same purpose.
Jul 31st 2008 6:52PM And make that THUNDERING Skyfire instead of Swift.
WTB edit function.
Jul 31st 2008 6:48PM ...Look, damn it look. Not Looc.
/whap self on head.
Jul 31st 2008 6:46PM Much better article, thank you for correcting the glaring mistakes in the last one.
However, one issue-No Retadin-dare I say, no melee DPS class PERIOD, should ever consider any other meta gem than Relentless Earthstorm. As appealing as Swift Skyfire and the +Weapon damage/stun proc ones looc, the procrates are, in fact, near 1%. Relentless, on the other hand, gives a good chunk of crit and keeps on scaling with your gear.
Jul 31st 2008 2:53PM Odd. From what I've seen the US client handles Cyrillic lettering quite well.
Jul 27th 2008 3:29PM Actually, Zach, the difference between Cloak of Darkness and Razor-Scale is whether or not you decide to put an epic gem in it.
With a Bold Living Ruby, it's inferior. With a Bold Crimson Spinel, it has the same Strength, but more crit, even with Kings. Obvious winner.
Jul 26th 2008 2:58PM Actually, let me take this opportunity to break this myth: Seal of Command procrate is based on UNHASTED weapon speed. Stacking haste will NOT decrease Command procrate-True, Seal of Blood scales better with +haste, but it is by no means a bad thing to have if you can get it for an Alliance paladin.
Jul 26th 2008 2:52PM Surprised you didn't give more of a mention to the SSO neck-Particularly that, if Aldor, the proc frequency puts it at best in slot until Sunwell, and only then if you're a JC.
"Nothing to sneeze at" is hardly appropriate for something that good.
