Sep 20th 2008 3:06PM @vlad: No, the buff does not take away reagent costs, and never has. Do you even play this game? Or do you just sit around making cynical comments on every WoW Insider post? Certainly seems like the latter.
Sep 18th 2008 3:37PM @dan: How is this well-researched? All Schramm did is ask the questions he thought up when he got called out by people with a clue about how this stuff works. And then only after being contacted by Blizzard's PR, because WoW Insider was misleading people into thinking that something was screwy with the authenticator.
The only part of this that was well-researched was the stuff that Blizzard sent back to him.
Sep 18th 2008 3:31PM So I don't see your point then. As far as Blizzard can tell, no accounts that have an authenticator attached have been compromised up to this point. I think that's pretty clear, yet you seem to be drawing the opposite conclusion.
There may still be some pending investigations, and maybe there's even some sort of PR conspiracy going on where they are "still investigating" accounts that probably were compromised (cue dramatic music), but that seems a bit far-fetched.
Sep 18th 2008 2:43PM Well that's something that could be done via an addon, but I personally wouldn't want this as a default behavior. Sometimes having static symbols is a good thing.

Sep 18th 2008 2:37PM Just be technical, the bear mount isn't being removed, only the ability to acquire a new one.
Sep 18th 2008 2:28PM @vlad: "i would like to run in to low level quests while im farming peacebloom"
I would like to track ores and herbs at the same time too. Or let my hunter track undead and humanoids simultaneously. Hell, let me track everything at all times, right?
Sheesh, talk about wanting everything handed to you on a platter.
Also: "(lowbie items mosly sell bigger than 70 level items)"
Quest items are usually BoP anyway, so that point is moot.
