Oct 23rd 2007 10:16AM !!!! I'm suprised no ones complaining about the MORTAL STRIKE FOR HUNTERS!
OMFG YES! Hunters will now be MUCH more viable in the arena.
Oct 16th 2007 1:33PM PvP Prot? Are you joking?
If someone comes across a prot warrior in pvp, they just ignore him and kill everyone else. Prot warriors don't do damage, and they're hard to kill, so just leave em alone!
If someone actually made the mistake of trying to arena with a prot, the other team would be rolling around laughing. As it is, warriors are usually killed last anyways, even when they're arms and fury.
Why would you ask for prot arena gear when the arena doesn't even use prot warriors?!
Oct 15th 2007 9:48AM I'm really enjoying the Tabula Rasa beta right now.
Oct 15th 2007 9:46AM To whomever keeps saying that hunters have EZ mode in every bracket, you seriously need to gain more arena experience or get past a 1500 ranking. My resto druid/ bm-survival hunter 2v2 combo are struggling to stay above 1700, when I could easily grab a greened warlock to romp with my drood, and push 1900.
My friends hunter will be ecstatic, as one of the major problems we have is keeping people out of his deadzone. My roots and cyclone only work so long before they're immune. More than half the time the enemies are either using LOS or the deadzone to keep him from doing damage.
I honestly can't wait for 2.3's hunter changes, and I hope this is one of them as well. Our combo will finally be viable!
Hunters are the MOST unrepresented class in arena, by a HUGE HUGE HUGE margin.
Oct 2nd 2007 10:12AM Do night elves really have those hideously huge ears?
God I hate night elves.
Oct 2nd 2007 10:08AM I agree it's not much of a big deal when you can do a couple heroics over the course of a week and have the badges necessary for the trinket.
At least I'll finally be able to say I've BEEN to those instances!!
Oct 2nd 2007 9:44AM Oh I agree with just about everyone here wishing they converted your character over to a new hero class.
Unfortunately, that just doesn't work logistically. People will go "hey wait, I don't know if I really want to IRREVERSIBLY change my mage into heroclassx.... so, i'll just level up a newbie mage to convert.
True class conversions in the gameworld are only truly workable if you give players the option to change your mind later. If they implemented this, "you can go back to being a mage, but you lose your 10 levels and 500gold", then I'd be all for it.
But yes, I agree. I wished to be able to turn warriors into blademasters (a mix of rogue and warrior, two hands only and just crazy dps), paladins into deathknights, hunters into marksmen (no pet, ranged only, even more crazy dps), etcetera etcetera etcetera...
Oct 2nd 2007 9:28AM @15. Honestly I think a pvp interrupt/stun will be more valuable to the priests in the Arena.
Oct 2nd 2007 9:14AM I've been playing AV on my druid for months and months now. I'd say we win as horde probably 99% of the time.
The reason for this is simply the fact that I'm there. I'm pvp resto, and I heal everybody. Simple enough. Healing = win. Tanks = win.
Every freaking game I sort by healing on the scoreboard, and I'll see a couple of different scenarios:
1) I'm leading in healing by at least 100,000... and the alliance has no healing whatsoever.
Result - Horde steamroll victory
2) I'm leading in healing by a bit, or maybe not even... but theres lots of healing on the horde. Alliance has no healing whatsoever.
Result - Horde steamroll victory
3) I'm leading in healing on the horde, but I'm the only one healing on horde, and the alliance has multiple healers that are equal to my healing.
Result - It's a very close race, and either side can win depending on which faction has better tanks.
Here's a clue with AV. Healing + Tanks = Victory.
