Why do you ask?
Oct 1st 2007 2:44PM @8... no, i'm a Druid that casts MoTW and Thorns on every faction member I come across in pve.
Why do you ask?
Oct 1st 2007 12:59PM @6... Since when have warlocks ever helped anybody?
All I see are locks fearing people into mobs, or training mobs onto their own faction when doing the escort quest!
Oct 1st 2007 10:53AM @6.. Dropping a person fast in the Arena may work in the sub 1600 bracket, but you'll rarely see it happen above that. The 1700+ teams all have a great healer and silencer/cc/dispeller that don't really give a crap about your burst damage. It's all about survivability and endurance at those levels.
Sep 28th 2007 4:22PM @9... I have an X-Fi Fatal1ty as well.... and 2.2 sounds no different than 2.1 or 2.0 or 1.0 after I setup the sound channels to max. Perhaps it's not blizz causing your problem, but the nut behind the wheel?
Sep 27th 2007 12:48PM @11.. I already mentioned the CCG Tiger... Horde have access to two tigers. Fantastic...
If you want it to be "even", then give the alliance a spectral Raptor.
Sep 27th 2007 11:32AM Alliance has access to ZG raptors and undead horses from the Baron in Strat. What more do those clowns want?
Now the Horde has a spectral tiger from the CCG, and the BeerFest Ram from 2.2.3.... We're even!
Sep 27th 2007 10:01AM This isn't a bad change. Everyone still has access to season 1 and season 2 weapons, which are just slightly less powerful than what will be available to the top teams that you'll never play anyways. Not to mention, season 1 and season 2 gear will be cheaper and easier to afford.
Gear is less of a factor than class makeup and skill. An extra few dps or stam from a season 3 weapon will not save the day.
Sep 27th 2007 9:40AM @7... yes, you're quite wrong. Engaging in any npc that is flagged pvp (which all npc's in av are) will then go on to flag you for pvp, and count towards an anti-activity debuff that you might have.
@everyone else... hardly anyone is just randomly reporting people. They are simply looking on their map to see if there are people in cave, and if they are, they report them. Simple enough. If defense is all respawning in the cave, just about everyone is smart enough to realize that...
Apparently you can't spam report either, as blizz stops recognizing your notifications.
This isn't a bad system, and the frequency a legitimately non-afk user will be targeted, should be quite rare. There's no way around it.
