Apr 9th 2010 12:41PM yeah wtf....no ammo?
so what was that big rep grind (for some people) for ashen verdict engineering recipes even for then?
and since there is no more ammo, what about all the engineering recipes that CREATE ammo?
seriously, this seems a bit asinine
Mar 28th 2010 2:03PM exactly! the thing is with epics dropping so fast and in retardedly high amounts, a blue has no reason to be needed when you normally can outfit in epics within a small amount of dungeon runs
Mar 28th 2010 2:01PM "So you'd vote-kick someone who needs a BoE that is actually an upgrade for the toon they are playing at the time?..."
umm, yeah, we do VK people like that for the simple reason most "needing" on a BOE is so they can sell it, ive yet to see a random pug member need on a BOE and use it. hell we've had pug members need a boe and drop group. you have to remember, not all servers/battlegroups have the most honest people playing. there are some that would /need candy from a baby if they could
"I know epics are pretty easy to get now, but there are a few BoE items out there that are decent enough for a new 80 until they get a better piece in place."
i gotta disagree with you, most heroics and whatnot drop gear so fast that getting a BOE at 80 (thats not epic) is kinda worthless (unless you are doing PVP and get your class armor set to use, but that is crafted).
"Not everyone has the time to chain run enough heroics to get full T9 in a few days."
gotta disagree again, i had a BRAND new 80, i had 3 pieces of tier 9 in.....2 days, and i wasnt running anything too hard core seeing i had OTHER 80s that had priority in frost badges
"And seriously, you get that worked up over the 10-50g a BoE blue is worth (most are worth the short end nowadays) on the AH? Go do some dailies."
10-50g that you didnt have a shot on. that does add up, give it a little thought
Mar 28th 2010 1:53PM i saw that FAR too many times during Direbrew and the boe epic tankards. i ran with a friend who hit DE on it and then i asked him why he DE'd an item worth WELL over 1500g (at the time). his reply was, "oh thats boe? i didnt read it i just hit DE, thats gotta be at least the 3rd or 4th one ive broken now"
Jan 29th 2010 1:08PM ....just a bit too dark/morbid for my taste, it conveys well but just.....wow....too morbid
Dec 30th 2009 3:13PM @Krick
1) "People who want to skip bosses to get it done faster"
these are they people i want to forcefully strangle, if you dont wanna run the full instance, go run elsewhere kthxbye
2) "DPS who try to "speed things up" by overpulling and wiping us."
again, people i want to strangle. ive actually been in a run with a fellow guildie *waves upwards* where we had JUST started an instance and i was pulling 1-2 groups and moving at a fast pace when the DPS chimes in "can we move it a bit faster?" i reply no seeing im already pulling more than one set of mobs. we finish the set we were on, healer and dps both zone out.....guildie/myself are both confused as all hell
#3(sorta) "Speaking of healers... Has anyone had trouble with non-druid healers in the new heroics?"
yes and no, ive run the FOS and POS with a paladin guildie healer, as my palatank...hah, both were just cakewalks, it was only when we got to HHOR that we saw massive LOS issues, mana issues, and just healing fast enough issues.....that being said, the time i ran HHOR with a druid healer.....holy hell, we had done 5 trash pulls and at the boss before i knew what happened. i think some of the newer 5mans are more suited to druid healing with the LOS issues and with HOTs being able to still tick no matter what
Dec 30th 2009 3:02PM omg, where did you come from and could you explain that to most of the 1/2 brain PUG members i have run with?
#1 on my paladin its not as big of a deal, but holy hell people, give the warriors a break and let them get gdamn aggro, its not that difficult, give them a 3 mississippi unless you have a death wish
#2+#3 i don't need roll on much unless its a GREAT upgrade, and hilts, imo, everyone in the group /roll need
#4 if you don't have DBM, please, dont expect to live through some encounters you have to move from slime puddle A to safe spot B (POS anyone?)
#5 other than my guildies, i've very rarely been thanked for tanking a run, and the sad part is, normally when i pull a PUG run, i'm bringing at least a dps with me (guild 2IC) and most times a healer and a 2nd dps who all have a guild vent running with me and all listen to directions
#6 HAH, you have no idea how many douche-bags there are in LFG that think they are king shit and no under-geared players should be in LFG. for example, i had JUST picked up Rimefang's Claw not even 10min before i had re-queued for another random, so of course, no enchant, which eh, as a paladin you can deal an instance or two and be fine. so i get a HVH run and this DK proceeds to lecture me the ENTIRE instance about how i need to focus more on the "important things of raiding" which being the second you get an upgrade you enchant it. i wanted to strangle the DK
Dec 1st 2009 6:15PM yeah that does sound very odd, it would basically remove the need to even level fishing past 1 since you would always catch what you want every cast
Nov 25th 2009 2:22PM ok compensation is nice, but when your server/battlegroup has constant issues to begin with, you can comp me all you want but it will do no good when the server/battlegroup constantly has severe issues with it. and no a 3 minute fix isnt whats going to solve the problems, but ffs why cant they invest SOMETHING towards looking at the larger scale issues we have with th
Nov 25th 2009 2:09PM oh goodie, servers/battlegroups are falling apart and Blizzard releases a $50 figurine.....nice, how about $49 of the $50 go to fixing the Seattle Datacenter flustercuck?
