May 6th 2009 4:27PM I just quit my previous arena team (warlock/rogue) due to the shared DR for Fear and Blind, and started running the not-so-amazing setup of rogue/healadin.
Good gods. It's like playing two different classes. In double DPS you usually trinket the first dangerous CC thrown your way (e.g. 1-2 seconds in the enemy rogue's Cheap Shot) and immediately vanish CS him yourself while coordonating fast CC setups with your partner and calling out everything that happens on the playfield (a must, as I see it).
Rogue/Healadin is as boring a game as leveling through mob killing. Nothing really exciting happens. Oh, you think you're gonna burst that warrior? Whoops, Shield Wall. Burst next kidney? Whoops, Blessing of Sacrifice. Burst next one? Pally is bubble bombing Holy Lights. It's whoever gets the first untrinketable CC on the enemy healer (or DPS, depending on the situation) that decides the fight. Snore.

You know, it's not exclaiming bastard versions of abbreviations, it's a rythmic motion of your chest muscles that comes out by its own will.
Mar 23rd 2009 2:09PM How do you deal with hunter/paladin? Even with a sap on either of them and burning down one, I can at most force a bubble, then I get a heavy CC chain. Frost trap kited, scatter'd if I get close, Deterrance when he's low or I get a disarm in, Wyvern if they're about to burst the priest. AlsoFreedom whenever I get a KS and then just wingclip me and run away. HoJ/Repentance from paladin is there as well, although they can be dispelled (if my priest still has mana).
Once I run out of cooldowns it's the end of the match.
We've tried turtling and killing the pet, but neither seems to work. Any ideas?
Mar 20th 2009 8:21AM It's been the same with my guild's runs, and several PuGs.
I believe it's just that there are more mobs there than any other room in Naxx, so hence the chance is greater. Or maybe it really is because the bats and fungus beasts or w/e there have a slightly higher chance to drop them.
