Apr 5th 2008 7:36PM At first, you made sense, in the middle, you started doing unnessecary (I'm aware I spelled that wrong) things, and at the end, you started to blurt random numbers.
There's a lot of ways you can simplify this without reducing calculation accuracy.
Apr 1st 2008 8:54PM If you look on wowwiki, according to Blizzard, the loot dropping off the first 3 bosses is in par to gear in Kara, and the loot of Kael is in par with Prince whatshisname. The only difference is that you don't need 10 people for MrT, but there's not as much loot and badges.
Mar 15th 2008 4:35AM You know I think I found something out with your last quote of "Warlocks curse druids, they can remove DoTs."
Warlocks usually beat mages because... .well, all the reasons lited above. Druids beat locks cause' they take down DoTs and put up Hots. But as well, Mages take down druids because we take your Hots away for our own sake.
So really, everyone has a weakness and strength. It was meant to be like that.
However, there is only one problem... thats the fact that I'm not the only one saying all of this information. TONS of people above and on other blogs/forums/[insert form of forum-like communication source here]/websites that there are differences and utilities and weaknesses and all that type of stuff. Though I should be doing this as well:
Open your eyes, not your mouth.
Mar 10th 2008 6:54PM Well, in 2.4 there also having gear avialiable for badges that is equivalent to BT/MH gear, and in sunwell plateau they will add bracers, boots and i think belt to t6. IF they're doing this, I think portals to stonard are just trying to get people to do kara more for more badges.

Though I don't want to believe it, what you said was true. First, people PvE'd to have fun. I mean, that's why we play WoW. But now that all it is is trying to get loot, its fun a little, but not as fun as it used to be. Things like ninjas, generally mean people in PuGs (or even guild raids), afkers and hackers take out alot of the fun of killing them, and even without them alot of thrill was taken out.
Blizzard should start making bosses funner.
However, to the point of the article, #1 is right. They didn't say it as badges of Justice these guys at the Sunwell were dropping. If they did that would be gay, it takes all the fun out of getting gear.

Oct 7th 2007 1:18AM Dear Apocpwns,
I am not trying to blame you for something, but I would like to say something. I have been every spec (far enough to get the very bottom one at each one), and I have to say, arcane is definetely not crap. It's actually really good. But anyway, I am a 62 mage. Some people find mages hard, some fun, some boring. It all just depends on your opinion. I personally LOVE mages, since they can stand back and do damage wthout getting another warhammer stuck in their helmet.

Oct 2nd 2007 10:16PM Well, I would like to say something that would hopefully end this entire chat forum, since it is way long.
I am a 61 mage. And first of all, I would like to get one thing said out to the world. MAGES MUST BE LVL 65 TO MAKE PORTALS TO SHAT! I am sick and tired of people asking for portals to shat. I've been getting them since I was lvl 40, and I HATE it. Even if I was lvl 65, most people don't even offer any money or items in return for the port. If you expect to say "port to shat NOW" and get a port to shat along with a "thank you, come again!", your out of your mind. If you expect to ask something like "can i get a port to shat, please? i will tip and come to you", then you can expect a port to shat (unless we re having a bad day).
Now to the water/food situation. I actually had only one request when I wasn't in a group to give some hunter water and food. This guy was somewhere in the eastern kingdoms, and I was in the middle of nowhere, somewhere in tanaris. This dude ACTUALLY expected me to go to him, give him food and water (for free), and leave me to my business. That man was lucky I was in a good mood. I told him to come to me first. He did, and I gave that man food and water.
GO back on this comment page and read comment #3. It makes the best point ever about water. If I'm out of mana, pestering and demanding me for some water won't make me get my mana any faster, and it just makes me less in the mood for making you water. Also, it's better to ASK for water NICELY instead of opening a trade window and expecting one on the spot. I'll give you your water when I hve the time.
Last, I hear people complaining about mages not de-cursing them. Before you get angry, look at us. If we are in the middle of casting a fireball, frostbolt, or arcane missiles, we cannot de-curse you until we are done. We cannot cast two spells at once.
