Oct 21st 2009 7:37AM I stand corrected. Thanks, i had always thought it would be multiplicative due to my association of it with crusader aura. Also i tested just to satiate my own curiosity and it is indeed 1.2.
Oct 20th 2009 10:01PM I know it is a technicality, however the actual bonus is 27.05%. This is due to the multiplicative percent bonuses. i.e. 1.1*1.1*1.05=1.2705.
Jun 22nd 2009 4:38PM Your reasoning is slightly flawed. It will be a nerf to all tanking classes due to the way armor scales.
At 28000 armor and 62.7% damage reduction a tank gets Inspiration and this is buffed to 35000 and 67.8% damage reduction. This looks like only a gain of 5 percent, however it is actually a difference of 13.6%. Because before the tank was taking 37.3 and is now taking 32.2, this yields a difference of 13.6%. Making it a nerf to tanks and a buff to all other classes.

I don't believe the problem is so much that people don't like respecing and gearing and whatnot, that is a problem dual-specs will eliminate. But its the nature of people, some people just cant take the responsibility of healing or tanking or just dont like it. Personally i play a pally tank, not very geared due to school, i love the leader role and controlling the flow of the run. However i know a lot of people in game, life, my guild, that couldn't do it, they just don't have what i would say makes a good tank or healer. Their other spec may end up being a healer but odds are they will rarely, if ever use, it.
