May 15th 2008 8:26PM Hey, I posted a little bit about the event on my blog, wownightswatch.blogspot.com. I had a lot of fun, definately one of the better ICFTB events to date =]

Forum post of the day: Keep your E-sport out of the Battlegrounds {WoW}

Apr 23rd 2008 11:19PM Screw this e-Sport nonsense. Don't get me wrong, I love WoW, I love all of Blizzard's games, and I'll probably be a consumer for a long time.

But at the end of the day, Arena is STILL part of an MMO. Whether or not one considers themself to be a nerd or not aside, MMORPG's are definately "nerdy" past-times; not a "sport," not even an "electronic sport(?)" It's a game, and I'm sick and tired of Blizzard's campaign to try and convince us otherwise. Yes, sometimes I do have like 7 hours a day to play, but days like that are few and far between. I want to be able to log onto WoW for an hour or so and actually be able to accomplish something, but that is getting harder and harder to do.

Apr 19th 2008 1:46PM Save time, for sure. I always buyout, and then just do a few dailies later on to make up for it.

Apr 19th 2008 1:42PM I'd totally forgotten how sweet that song was!

Loving to hate RP descriptions {WoW}

Apr 19th 2008 1:23PM I definately know how you feel, Alex. Being somewhat of a casual, creative writer, I've tried RP servers quite a few times; the idea of being immersed into Azeroth on another level just seemed to really intrigue me. I grew up on WC, WCII, and WCIII so the storylines and lore of WoW are, for me, just as fun as pwning noobs and getting epix.

However, I haven't been able to hit anything more than level 8 on an RP server yet. I get so frustrated seeing all these characters who are "Archimonde's long-lost daughter," or "the illegitimate child of Tyrande and C'thun who is sort of a paladin, but not really, 'cause he's evil." While I am by no means an RP elitist (if anything, I'm an RP novice, as my experience is pretty limited), but since when was it a bad thing to have a "normal" character? Or a character whose personally is subtle?

Gamers on the Street: Oceanic players persist despite performance issues {WoW}

Apr 14th 2008 11:17PM Yeah, and it's kind of weird, because there are no servers that are in my timezone (Atlantic Standard), so I play on an EST server, and still have relatively low ping.

However, I can barely move in Shattrath.
