Dec 13th 2010 12:20PM LOTRO is my favorite. The graphics have always impressed me and the feel of the world is spot-on.
Mar 14th 2010 2:19PM The QQ over the buff is kind of ridiculous. We all pay the same amount of money per month, therefore we are all entitled to see all the content if we so desire. I've been banging my head against the bosses in ICC since it released with my guild, and none of us are mad about the buff, it will just make it easier for us to go 11/12 in one night.
All of our gear will be worthless when Cata raids start anyway, so who cares if "casuals" can pug ICC and do most of the bosses. Its about enjoying the game, stroke your e-peen in private if loot is all you are playing for.
Sep 15th 2009 11:57PM Lots of Red Shirts, and dangerous missions, it will be glorious...right?
Feb 7th 2009 10:52PM Personally, regardless of what universe Lord Mat is residing in, I would consider myself lucky to have the gambler general along.
Feb 4th 2009 12:25AM I think the reason for giving replenishment to those 3 specs was more tactical than anything. Pre-2.8, Ret was still Lolret and you just needed one surv hunter for that one debuff...if at all. SP were probably the best off at that point.
I think they decided to fold that into those 3 specs to make them more worthy of being brought to the raid. I played Ret at the time and I remember how difficult it was to just be taken on a 5-man dungeon...last kid picked at dodgeball seems like a fair comparison most of the time, regardless of skill.
Yes, Ret is super-buffed right now, but perhaps the decision had already been made, due to low showings of Ret in end-game raiding Pre-Wotlk.

Mar 6th 2008 10:52PM What bothers me is that people seems to think it is a travesty to want to play as DPS on a class that can tank (or heal). Just because there is a shortage doesn't mean I should tank an instance for you on my Paladin. Same goes for healing.
Each dps class has its own flavor, and some people like the Fury warrior or Ret pally variety. Its the kind of thinking that says "Your class can tank, therefore you SHOULD tank" that most likely drives a lot of people away from that role.
When I play WoW, its to get away from the pressures of daily life for a short time, not worry about keeping another group of people happy, and being blamed for anything that goes wrong.
